𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚.

Jesus teaches us to ask, to seek, and to knock with confidence in the goodness of the Father. His invitation to persistent prayer reminds us that we do not have to carry the challenges of service by our own strength.

There are moments when volunteers may feel tired, discouraged, or unsure if their efforts are making a difference. We may pray for a need and not see an immediate answer. We may wonder where to find the strength, patience, or resources to continue.

Yet prayer teaches us to keep going—not because everything will always happen the way we expect, but because we trust that God hears us and knows what we truly need.

May we bring our concerns, struggles, and hopes to God. May we ask for wisdom when we do not know what to do, strength when we feel weak, patience when service becomes difficult, and a loving heart when we are tempted to give up.

Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. And keep serving with faith.

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗔 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗦.

Martha welcomed Jesus into her home and busied herself with serving, while Mary chose to sit at His feet and listen. Jesus was not dismissing Martha’s desire to serve. He was gently reminding her not to become so anxious and occupied that she loses sight of what matters most.

This speaks beautifully to those who serve. There can be many things to do, many people to help, and many responsibilities to carry. Sometimes, in our desire to give our best, we can become tired, overwhelmed, or even frustrated when things do not go according to plan.

Service needs a heart that is first rooted in God. When we make time to listen, pray, and be with Him, our service becomes more than simply accomplishing tasks. It becomes an offering of love.

May we learn to balance action with prayer, activity with stillness, and responsibility with trust. May we never become so busy doing good that we forget the One who gives meaning to our service.

Pause. Listen. Pray. Then serve with love.

𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡, 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗠.

The Good Samaritan reminds us that love is not simply something we feel—it moves us to act. He saw someone in need, stopped, drew near, and offered practical care.

For those who serve, there will always be moments when it is easier to pass by. We may be busy, tired, uncertain, or tempted to think, “Someone else will help.” But genuine service begins when we allow ourselves to notice and care.

Sometimes the person who needs our help may not ask for it. Sometimes serving may be inconvenient or require more patience than we expected. Yet compassion invites us to look beyond appearances and see the person—their dignity, their struggles, and their need to know that someone cares.

May we have hearts that notice, hands that help, and the courage to respond with love. May our service go beyond good intentions and become something concrete for those we encounter.

See with compassion. Draw near with love. Go and do likewise.

𝗕𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗.

In the parable of the vineyard, Jesus reminds us that what has been entrusted to us is not meant to be wasted. We are called to bear fruit and to recognize that everything we have—our time, talents, opportunities, and ability to serve—is ultimately a gift from God.

For those who serve, there may be days when the fruit of our efforts is difficult to see. We may feel that our work is unnoticed, misunderstood, or even unappreciated. There may also be temptations to become discouraged, to seek recognition, or to give up when things do not happen according to our expectations.

But faithful service is not measured only by visible results. What matters is the love, sincerity, and faithfulness with which we offer what has been entrusted to us.

May we continue to serve with generous hearts, care for the people placed in our path, and trust God with the fruits of our labor. In His time, He can bring life and goodness from even the smallest offering.
Serve faithfully. Bear good fruit. Trust God with the results.

𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘.

Jesus places a child before His disciples and teaches them that greatness in God’s Kingdom is found in humility. He reminds us that those who seem small or easily overlooked are precious in His eyes.

This speaks deeply to the heart of service. We do not serve to become important, to be noticed, or to receive praise. We serve because every person has dignity and deserves to be treated with kindness, patience, and care.

There may be moments when our work feels small, unnoticed, or unimportant. We may even be tempted to compare our service with others or seek recognition for what we do. In those moments, may we return to the simple heart of a servant—willing to listen, willing to help, and willing to care even when no one is watching.

May we never underestimate the value of a small act done with great love. A gentle word, a helping hand, a patient heart, or simply being present can become a beautiful expression of God’s love.

Stay humble. Serve sincerely. Make room for those who are often overlooked. 🤍🔥

𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘, 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗗. 🤍

Jesus sends His disciples ahead of Him, reminding them that the harvest is abundant but the laborers are few. Their mission was not simply to go somewhere—it was to bring His peace, His presence, and His love to the people they would meet.

Service begins with being willing to go. Sometimes we are sent into situations that are unfamiliar, inconvenient, or challenging. We may not have everything we need, but we can still offer our time, our presence, our skills, and a heart willing to help.

There may also be moments when our service is not welcomed or when things do not go as we hoped. In those moments, may we remain peaceful, humble, and faithful. Our task is not to force change, but to be faithful in bringing goodness wherever God sends us.

May our hearts remain open to the call to serve, and may our simple acts become signs of God's love to others.

Go where love is needed. Bring peace. Serve with what you have.

𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪. 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘.

Luke 9:57–62 reminds us that following Jesus is not always about choosing what is easiest or most comfortable. His call asks for a willing heart—a heart ready to move forward, even when the path requires sacrifice, patience, and letting go.

Service can be like this, too. There may be moments when our plans, comfort, personal preferences, or other concerns compete for our attention. We may even feel tired or uncertain about continuing. Yet a genuine heart of service learns to keep its eyes on the mission and trust the One who called us.

May we have the courage to say “yes” again and again—not only when serving is convenient, but also when it asks something from us. May we let go of whatever keeps us from giving our best, and remain faithful to the people entrusted to our care.

Keep your heart willing. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep moving forward in love.

𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗗’𝗦 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦.

Jesus saw something in Nathanael that others might not have noticed—a sincere heart and a person without deceit. He knew him deeply, even before Nathanael fully understood who He was.

In serving others, we meet people with different stories, personalities, struggles, and ways of responding. It can be tempting to judge quickly, become discouraged, or focus only on what we see on the surface.

May we learn to look deeper—to recognize the goodness, dignity, and potential in the people we encounter. May our service be sincere, not driven by recognition, and may our presence bring kindness and hope wherever we are.

When we see others with love, we begin to serve not just their needs, but their hearts.
See with compassion. Serve with sincerity. Bring Christ through your presence.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗗.

Following Jesus does not mean that every act of kindness will be understood, appreciated, or welcomed by everyone. There may be moments when service brings misunderstanding, criticism, rejection, or discouragement.

These moments can be difficult, especially when we give our time and effort with a sincere heart. We may be tempted to ask whether it is still worth continuing when our intentions are questioned or our efforts go unnoticed.

May we remember where our strength comes from. We do not serve simply for approval or recognition. We serve because we have chosen to follow Jesus and allow His love to shape the way we treat others.

When challenges come, may we stay close to Him, remain faithful to what is good, and continue serving with a humble and loving heart.

When service is difficult, stay faithful. When misunderstood, stay kind. When tired, stay close to Jesus.

𝗟𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 “𝗬𝗘𝗦” 𝗕𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘.

Matthew 21:28–32 reminds us that what matters is not only what we say, but what we choose to do. Sometimes, we may say “yes” but struggle to follow through. At other times, we may hesitate at first, yet eventually find the courage to do what is right.

Service can be like this too. There may be days when we feel tired, uncertain, or not ready to help. We may even change our minds or lose motivation along the way. But every day gives us another opportunity to choose kindness, faithfulness, and love.

May our service be more than good intentions. May our “yes” become action, our faith become visible, and our willingness to help become a blessing to others.

And when we fall short, may we remember that it is never too late to turn back, begin again, and choose to do good.

Let our actions speak. Let our service reflect the faith in our hearts.
