“𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜.” — Mother Teresa

One of the advocacies of Project Amuma is 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚: 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, especially with children and those who need it most. Though this is only our first mission, it already reflects the heart of what we stand for. This Christmas season, we are grateful for the generous hearts who shared their blessings, helping 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣, 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙.

During our outreach in Sitio Campaca, Brgy. Pamutan, we reminded the children that 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮, no matter how little one has. We also shared that 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨: it can be showing respect, loving others unconditionally, and spreading happiness wherever we go.

📷 Seeing the children’s smiles as they received gifts and played together reminded us of the pure joy that comes from giving.

Proclaiming the Word of God lies at the heart of Project Amuma. As this marks our first mission, the team commits that in every future outreach, religious teaching, especially guiding beneficiaries in praying the Holy Rosary, will always be a top priority.

Prior to the session for catechism, pouches containing 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬, 𝐟𝐥𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐨. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐄𝐬𝐩í𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 were distributed so the children could actively follow the steps of praying the Rosary.

𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐲 then led the catechism during the outreach at Sitio Campaca, Barangay Pamutan, emphasizing prayer and the Rosary as sources of faith, strength, and hope.

𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆!👀 Project AMUMA in Barangay Pamutan!

The Project AMUMA team, in partnership with Holy Rosary School of Pardo and the officials of Barangay Pamutan, Cebu City, successfully concluded its first outreach mission in 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙖, 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, as part of the Christmas celebration. With the unwavering support and generosity of its members and sponsors, both financial and in kind, the team was able to extend love, joy, and hope, bringing heartfelt smiles to the children. Through meaningful collaboration, unity, and compassion, this mission embodied the true spirit of Christmas and marked the beginning of a shared commitment to serve, uplift, and nurture the community.
