ACCERT Youth proudly rendered service as the Medical Backup and Crowd Control Team during the Cebu Heritage Tourism Run, demonstrating its commitment to public service and community safety. Our volunteers remained on standby throughout the event, providing immediate assistance when needed while helping maintain order to ensure the well-being of all participants and spectators.

This initiative was carried out under the leadership of our National President, Dr. Miguel Ortiz, and with the guidance and unwavering support of our Vice President for Youth and Junior Affairs, Davidoff Oscar Laurente. Through discipline, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility, ACCERT Youth continues to uphold its mission of serving the community through volunteerism, emergency preparedness, and meaningful civic engagement.

On June 14, 2026, a team of 16 ACCERT Youth Volunteers actively participated in the Cebu Grand Picnic, an event organized in coordination with the ๐—–๐—ฒ๐—ฏ๐˜‚ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐— ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜. The volunteers took on the important roles of standby medics and force multipliers, working hard on the ground to handle first aid needs and manage crowd safety. This successful deployment was made possible under the guidance and leadership of our VP for Youth, ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ, and our ACCERT National President, ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—–. ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜‡.

Beyond providing medical and safety support, ACCERT Youth proudly stood in solidarity with the values of inclusivity, respect, and community empowerment highlighted during the Cebu Grand Picnic. The event served as a meaningful platform where people from diverse backgrounds came together to celebrate unity and self-expression. ACCERTโ€™s Youth and Regular Officers successfully conducted a productive meeting with ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ณ, focusing on strengthening youth leadership, volunteerism, emergency response readiness, and community engagement. Discussions included upcoming trainings, courtesy calls, recruitment initiatives, disaster response programs, partnerships with different agencies, and future activities such as feeding programs, coastal cleanups, and outreach efforts.

Corporate President Dr. Miguel Ortiz emphasized the importance of empowering the youth, recognizing their willingness to serve, and continuing to build a strong organization grounded in leadership, discipline, and volunteerism.
