𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲.
Today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟮, young leaders and youth advocates gathered at 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘀 for the 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗦𝗨𝗡) 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, creating a space where ideas meet experiences, perspectives meet purpose, and young voices find room to be heard.
Among those taking part in today’s gathering as representatives of 𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 are 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗶ñ𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗢𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗼, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗣𝗦𝗣𝗔–𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 and former 𝗖𝗡𝗨–𝗕𝗮𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿, and 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗺, 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗡𝗨–𝗕𝗮𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢. Their participation adds two more voices to a growing community of young leaders committed to learning, connecting, and making a difference.
Throughout the assembly, participants explored key issues surrounding 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, including the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁, findings from the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗡𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗡𝗥𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, the 𝗣𝗣𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴, and youth-focused nutrition initiatives. The program also highlighted the 𝗣𝗬𝗗𝗣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴, particularly its advocacy, communication, and social mobilization efforts, alongside youth-led initiatives such as 𝗬𝗟𝟰𝗡–𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 and 𝗙𝗶𝘅 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱.
The gathering also featured the 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, giving young leaders an opportunity to present their platforms and take part in shaping the direction of the network. In the afternoon, participants engaged in workshops on 𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, followed by plenary discussions, feedback sessions, and a 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 with SUN networks representing 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀.
The day culminated in the delivery of the 𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, followed by a 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱—turning the day’s conversations and shared aspirations into a clearer path for 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Beyond the photographs and moments captured today lies something more enduring: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.
Because every meaningful gathering of young leaders is more than an event—it is a reminder that 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽, 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
