Waddle along with our bill-ant navigator, 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗿., as he guides the flock through the streamlined world of AWS Lambda. We dove deep into how serverless handlers and ex*****on roles keep your architecture light and buoyant, using IAM permissions to ensure every participant has exactly the right access.

Through Python-generated presigned URLs, files moved securely to Lambda without exposing credentials. By the end, the flock connected a static frontend to a scalable, pay-as-you-go backend for seamless, serverless efficiency. ✨

🏴‍☠️ 𝗔𝗪𝗦 𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆—happening now, Ye Quaccy Crew! ☁️

The second chapter of the AWS Odyssey is now fully underway! The Quaccy Crew is diving deep into the essentials of Serverless Website Hosting with Lambda, expertly led by our captain for this session, 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗿. ☁️🦆

This session spotlighted AWS Lambda as the high-performance compute engine of our serverless architecture. By utilizing Event-Driven triggers from Amazon Lambda, we’ve built a reactive system that processes data in real-time without managing physical servers. A key focus was Automatic Horizontal Scaling, allowing Lambda to provision ex*****on environments instantly for any volume of traffic. From data validation to backend transformations, all processes occur within a stateless, secure environment using IAM Ex*****on Roles.

Our flock dove deep into the pond of Amazon S3 fundamentals, headed by 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗔. 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴—learning how buckets keep files afloat, how keys and prefixes guide our way, and how static websites spread their wings in the cloud.

From browser endpoints to REST adventures, this session hatched cloud‑powered wisdom that helps every duck soar higher. Let’s quacc proud, learn loud, and keep paddling toward new horizons! ✨

Our first leg of the 𝗔𝗪𝗦 𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 is officially in full swing! The Quaccy Crew is currently navigating the deep waters of 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝟯 with the guidance of 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗔. 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴. ☁️🦆

The session also emphasized secure cloud architecture through the two-bucket pattern, separating a public frontend bucket from a private uploads bucket. Key security practices such as enabling Block Public Access, default encryption, and bucket owner enforced settings were discussed alongside the AWS permissions model involving IAM policies and bucket policies. The lecture also introduced different access patterns from browsers, CLI, and backend services, along with the role of CORS and presigned URLs in enabling secure uploads without exposing AWS credentials.
