The BPLC Parents’ Orientation for School Year 2026–2027 was successfully conducted this morning in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, collaboration, and hope for another fruitful academic year. The gathering brought together parents, staff, and administrators in a meaningful exchange of information and shared commitment to the holistic development of every student.
The program was warmly and energetically facilitated by our versatile Masters of the Ceremony, Ms. Carmen Leuterio and Ms. Rosalia Trangia, who guided the participants throughout the morning's activities.
A comprehensive overview of the BP Cebu Foundation was presented by Mr. Roy Ceniza, Executive Director, who highlighted the foundation’s mission, vision, and continuing commitment to empowering young people through education and values formation.
Ms. Erica Fernando, BP Program Head, discussed the school's guidelines, expectations, and core values that serve as the foundation of the learning community. She also explained the Media Release Form, ensuring that parents fully understood its purpose and importance.
One of the most inspiring segments of the orientation was the presentation on the Art of Loving and the Cube of Love by Teacher Ave Lipasana. This values formation tool, which will be integrated into the students' development, was given special emphasis through the simple yet profound and life-challenging experiences shared by Teacher Salie, Teacher Binky, Earl, Moritz, Teacher Amata, and Sir Roy. Their personal testimonies beautifully illustrated how living out the values of love, service, and unity can positively transform everyday life.
Important legal matters, including the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and other related documents, were clearly explained by Ms. Rhea Mae B. Lazarte and Mr. Earl Kirk Tamayo, helping parents better understand their roles and responsibilities as partners in their children's educational journey.
The orientation also opened the floor for parents to raise questions and concerns. Several interesting and relevant issues emerged during the discussion, which will be further addressed during the upcoming PTA Assembly on June 11.
The meaningful gathering concluded shortly after 12:00 noon with a closing prayer and a photo opportunity, capturing the spirit of unity and partnership that marked the beginning of another promising school year.
As BPLC embarks on School Year 2026–2027, the orientation served as a reminder that the education of our young people is a shared mission—one that flourishes through cooperation, trust, and a common commitment to nurturing both academic excellence and strong values.
