FLOOD OPS: Day 1 (Nov 11, 2025) 🗺️
Route: TCH ➡️ Taptap ➡️ Lusaran

Today’s medical mission was powered by 10 riders, 3 4x4 drivers, 4 nurses, and 2 doctors — assembled as ONE pioneering team.

🏕️ We set up in Lusaran to provide checkups, prescriptions, and medical relief for the residents, especially the kids. The team also helped distribute relief packs from the Cebu City LGU, our partner for today’s (and tomorrow’s) route.

Big love and gratitude to:
⚕️ Our volunteer medical staff — for tirelessly caring for flood victims through heat, mud, and miles of travel. Many of you were part of the original Earthquake Ops team— thank you for being here again today!
🏍️ Our riders and drivers, led by twentyone8teen and Prodigal Son Motorcycles— for leading the way and traversing the rough, hazardous, muddy terrain, fully committed to getting team and supplies safely to every site.
🏪 Our partners at Marian Hills Pharmacy - Simala, for supplying and delivering affordable medicines to our initiative; even going the extra mile to do the grocery run themselves for the toiletries and sanitary items!

🏧 ~₱100 bank transfer fees

⛽ ₱3.4K (5%) Petty cash for on-road needs — today, the team is on the road for Day 1!

As of 8 Nov 2025: we have raised Php 32,169.92! 💗52% has been consumed to purchase 1000 pcs of doxycycline, OTC meds (both kids and adults), maintenance meds (primarily for hypertension) and other basic necessities.

🚑💊 Some of our volunteers got to administer these meds to families at Bacayan yesterday, one of the heavily afflicted areas in Talamban area. 🙏 We were relieved to make it as some kids were falling ill with fever and diarrhea; we hope our effort made it in time.

📢 WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING DONATIONS (Cash/Kind) for a 2nd batch of supplies. Our next purchase order will be primarily allocated to anti-tetanus shots and diarrhea OTC meds. They’ll arrive earliest Monday due to the next upcoming storm… let us all come prepared and hang in here 🙇‍♀️

We are truly working hard to get these to you SOONEST. 🏍️💨 We are still monitoring weather conditions & waiting for the arrival of our additional PO’s this Monday. We hope to mobilize these next Tue-Wed Nov 11-12, weather-permitting.

💊 With the guidance of our pharmacist consultant, 50% will be allocated to procuring doxycycline which helps prevent leptospirosis from exposure to floodwater. Our purchase order is still in progress; we’ll share the details in the next update. 🙏

📆📍 We are tentatively scheduling Nov 10-11 to mobilize these resources and our volunteer bikers, doctors, nurses. Today, some of our team will recon a target location at Busay.

🗺️🏍️ Riders will operate in teams, with medical personnel assigned to each group, and the rest will carry relief goods. Our group ride is coordinated by Prodigal Son Motorcycles and twentyone8teen.

‼️CEBU NEEDS YOUR HELP‼️

Not long ago, we conducted relief operations in northern cebu after the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck. We helped over 400 families in the remote mountain communites that could not easily be reached providing them with food relief, shelter, water and medical care. We brought the medicine, doctors and nurses to them on our motorcycles.

We’re doing this again to help aid and provide basic necessities to the mountain barangays and communities of Busay, Mabini, Buot, Lusaran, Tagba-o and surrounding areas that have been affected by the landslide caused by

These communities are very hard to reach on normal 4 wheeled vehicles, so we’re taking our dirt bikes through these difficult terrains to bring basic supplies, medicine and hope to our fellow cebuanos.

This is tatay Salvano, 64 yrs old of Brgy Odlot, Bogo. His daughter came up to us asking for help as we were setting up. He has been bed ridden for almost 2 years now, has a stroke, prostate cancer and situated in a very poor condition where they live up the hill, hidden far way from the main road.

His catheter bag had not been replaced for some time now, had some kind of spots on the skin maybe due to bed sores, only taking 1 out of 3 prescribed medicines (or when they could afford) and has pus excretion instead of urine which means he needs antibiotics immediately.

Through a generous donation, we were able to provide Salvano a much needed care package that would cover him a month or two worth of supplies, the best way to ease up the burden their family is carrying. (A list of what we have provided for him will be on the comment section below).

People in these situations is who we prioritize. Families who are in remote areas who barely have any access to help and support.

Thank you to everyone who made us capable of extending help to these people in dire need, so people like Salvano could smile for another day.

Ride to Relief
October 12, 2025: Ride to Relief 2nd Run.

We’d like to thank everyone involved that made this relief operation a success. We provided relief to over 300 families on that day alone, provided care to two elderly in critical condition, medication to many adults who could not afford just to get a diagnosis from a doctor and to the children whom we have had the chance to provide much needed care who sleep in a room without any walls.

To the donors who all will remain unnamed, thank you so much for the generosity, you know who you are. We reached so many places that neither the LGUs or private volunteers could reach, these people are very grateful for our efforts in trying and reaching our hand out to them, in an extraordinary way.

To the riders and volunteers to make this all happen, thank you for all the efforts and hard work. It’s not easy to be on site, to prepare for the day alone and to endure the 18 hour long task thats ahead, all at our own cost.

To the doctors and nurses who were with us on the day, thank you for putting your hand up in volunteering to provide healthcare to these people in need, putting there expertise towards strangers, giving them hope for a better life.

We’re far from over, but we’ll keep on providing and supporting these remote communities as much as we can but we need the community’s support! Ride to Relief won’t be possible without bayanihan.
