𝔄 𝔍𝔬𝔲𝔯𝔫𝔢𝔶 𝔬𝔣 𝔊𝔯𝔬𝔴𝔱𝔥, 𝔅𝔯𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔥𝔬𝔬𝔡, 𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔖𝔢𝔯𝔳𝔦𝔠𝔢 𝔅𝔢𝔤𝔦𝔫𝔰

Last November 21-23, The Pardo District Community Senior Scouting successfully conducted an Investiture and Youth Camp, together with the active participation of the UV Scouts, Pardo District Scouts, Squadron Scouts, and Falcon Scouts, was more than just an event—it was a powerful celebration of unity, leadership, and true service. 🏕️🔥

This meaningful gathering brought together young leaders from different units, all driven by the same goal: to grow, to serve, and to inspire. The investiture symbolized a new chapter of responsibility and commitment, while Youth Camp strengthened discipline, teamwork, and resilience through shared experiences and challenges. 🤝💪

Under the open sky, friendships were deepened, confidence was built, and the true spirit of scouting was felt in every activity. Each scout stood as a reminder that leadership starts with service and that greatness is achieved through perseverance, humility, and unity.

This Youth Camp was not just about camping—it was about shaping character, awakening purpose, and building future leaders who are ready to serve their communities with courage and integrity. ❤️🕊️

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄🤝✨

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 with its epicenter in 𝗕𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆. The disaster left families displaced, homes severely damaged, electricity cut off in many areas, and casualties reported. 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙣 𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙, 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩.

We, the 𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 are coming together to launch a 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for our kababayans affected by this calamity.

𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙:
-Bottled Water
-Non-perishable Foods (canned goods, noodles, and ready-to-eat meals)
-Trapal, tarpaulins, tents, and improvised shelter materials
-Hygiene Kits
-Medicines
-Clothes
-Financial Assistance

PRAYER | Loving and Merciful Father,
we come before You in this moment of trial, lifting up to You all our brothers and sisters affected by the recent earthquake. We pray for their safety and protection. Comfort the fearful, strengthen the weary, and surround the injured and displaced with Your tender care.

We offer special intentions for the churches in northern Cebu that have been destroyed. These sacred spaces have long been places of prayer, hope, and refuge. May they rise again as signs of Your enduring presence among us. Inspire the generosity of hearts and hands to help rebuild what was lost.

May this tragedy awaken in us a deeper sense of solidarity, compassion, and faith in Your providence. Amen.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of Cebu, keep us steadfast in hope and united in love.

At least 24 floats and thousands of devotees participated in the 40th Walk with Mary procession from the Capitol to Plaza Independencia, which culminated in a Mass on September 7, 2025.

Today, we remember and honor the countless heroes who fought with courage, selflessness , and love for our motherland. Their sacrifices gave us the gift of freedom and the chance to build a brighter future.

May we continue to protect the freedom they fought for, uphold the values they stood by, and inspire others with the same bravery that shaped our nation.
