Every person has a past mistakes made, regrets carried, and seasons they wish they could erase. There are moments when guilt tries to remind us of who we were, whispering that we will never change. But the gospel tells a different story. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑰 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒏𝒐 π’π’π’π’ˆπ’†π’“ π’…π’†π’‡π’Šπ’π’†π’” π’Žπ’†. 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔.

When I surrendered my life to Christ, I discovered that His grace is greater than my failures. My identity is no longer rooted in my past, my weaknesses, or the opinions of others. It is rooted in the love of the One who gave His life for me. Jesus did not come merely to improve my life; He came to make me new.

Being defined by Jesus means living with hope instead of shame. It means believing that forgiveness is real, that mercy is available every day, and that God's purpose is greater than my past. Though I may still face struggles and imperfections, I no longer walk alone. Christ is continually transforming my heart, teaching me to love, forgive, and trust Him more each day.

The world often labels people by their failures, but God calls His children by His promises. In Christ, I am forgiven, redeemed, and chosen. My story is no longer about who I was but it is about what Jesus has done and continues to do in my life.

The past may explain where I came from, but it does not determine where I am going. My future belongs to the One who has already conquered sin and death. Because of Him, I can walk forward with confidence, knowing that my identity is secure in His grace.

The person I used to be is part of my testimony, not my identity. My identity is found in Jesus Christ, and that changes everything. I am no longer defined by my failures but by His faithfulness, no longer bound by my past but transformed by His love. In Him, I have become a new creation, and that is the story I choose to live every day.
