What a Day to remember! The PSG DaGiTab sa Kabatan-onan Year-End Party was filled with pure joy, laughter, and holiday cheer. Together with our Juniors and Seniors, we shared heart-warming Christmas carols, enjoyed fun and exciting games, and celebrated the strong bond that unites our Peer Support Group family. 💖 We truly ended the year feeling supported, grateful, and connected proof that when we come together, the spirit of care and unity shines the brightest.

AI is inevitable and will continue to grow, but harm is not inevitable.

Ang mga kabataan ay may karapatang gumamit ng AI na sumusuporta sa edukasyon, pagkamalikhain, at kabutihang pangkalusugan, at karapatan din nilang maprotektahan mula sa AI-enabled abuse, manipulasyon, misinformation, diskriminasyon, at iba pang panganib. 🤝✨

We must be part of AI decisions because we are the ones most affected. Keeping children safe is a shared responsibility, hindi ito kayang gawin ng isa lang. Adults, tech companies, and government must work together to protect and empower youth. 📣

The event brought young minds from all over the Philippines to come together to learn, connect, and stand 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗖🗣️🗯. The room was filled with energy, purpose, and collective hope. Together, we embraced 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 and 𝗔𝗜 advancements not as a threat, but as a 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 and change. Every voice reminded us that 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 is our first shield and 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 our sword. Today marks the beginning of stronger, smarter, and safer communities.

Bidlisiw Foundation Inc. - Philippines’ Children’s Rights Festival! 🧡💛

The morning kicked off with a vibrant Fun Run, bringing families, kids, and advocates together in a powerful show of support for children’s rights. After the run, the festival continued at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex—where interactive booths, learning stations, games, and meaningful conversations filled the day. 🎨📚

We also interviewed participants who shared inspiring insights about empowerment, safety, and community.

🧡Understanding and Stopping OSAEC 💛

Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) happens when someone uses the internet to trick, pressure, or harm a child through chats, games, or social media (UNICEF 2022). In the Philippines, about 20 percent of online children have experienced OSAEC and only 0 to 4 percent report it (UNICEF 2023). Reports continue to rise, reaching around 2.7 million cases in 2023 (CHR 2024). This is why kids, families, and communities must learn simple safety habits and speak up when something online feels wrong (Dela Cruz 2023). 💛✨

🌟 6 Tips to Stay Safe Online
• Be careful about what you share and avoid giving personal information like your full name, address, or school.
• Never send photos or videos to strangers, even if they seem friendly.
• Tell a trusted adult right away if someone makes you uncomfortable online.
• Do not click suspicious links, join unknown group chats, or accept friend requests from strangers.
• Use strong passwords and keep your accounts private.
• Report unsafe or harmful content to authorities, teachers, or child protection hotlines.

Last November 23, 2025, our family came together and elected a brand-new set of officers who will help guide our activities, projects, and safe spaces for children and youth 💡🤝

We were so happy to see both our PSG Dagitab Juniors and PSG Dagitab Seniors joining the gathering. Everyone shared their energy, ideas, and bright smiles 🌟😄

The year is ending so fast, and we’re happy to say that PSG Dagitab has made so much progress together 💛✨ From fun activities to meaningful learning moments, every step we took helped our group grow brighter.

Yesterday, November 23, 2025, we gathered once again for a special event. Both our Dagitab Juniors and Dagitab Seniors joined in with excitement and support. We talked, shared ideas, and celebrated everything we’ve achieved this year 🌈🤝

For many children and youth, support comes best from peers — someone who listens without judgement, speaks their language, and helps them feel seen, heard, and safe. 🤗

The Peer Support Group Federation, a child-led organisation based in Cebu, does exactly that by creating safe spaces and sparking conversations on children’s rights through child-friendly digital content like memes, vodcasts, and reels — raising awareness 📣 on online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) and online safety.🛡️

The Safety for Children and their Rights OnLine (SCROL) Project, implemented by Terre des Hommes Netherlands and Bidlisiw Foundation Inc. - Philippines, has been partnering with the PSG to reach and empower more children, helping them to reclaim their space, voice, and rights online. 🧡

🎉 October 10, 2025 — Today, we celebrate DaGITab’s 3rd Birthday! 🎉

Three years ago, we were just a group of children aged 13 to 17 who were curious, hopeful, and eager to make a difference. With the help of caring adults who guided us every step of the way, we learned how to speak up for children’s rights and stand strong against abuse and exploitation. From that small spark of passion, DaGITab was born!

Since then, we have grown together through many activities, outreach programs, and campaigns that helped us share our message of empowerment. Every workshop, forum, and project became a chance to shine brighter and inspire others to join us in creating a safe and just world for all children.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who made this journey possible. To our mentors, coordinators, and friends who supported us through the years, we are truly grateful. To our funders and partners — Project CONEC, the European Union, Terre des Hommes Netherlands, and Bidlisiw Foundation Inc. — thank you for believing in our dreams and helping us turn them into reality.

As we celebrate our 3rd anniversary, we promise to continue living out our Vision and Mission:
