𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗢 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡

What happened yesterday in the Senate of the Philippines is both 𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 and deeply concerning. The Senate has always been regarded as one of the 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 - a place where 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and the 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 should prevail. Seeing conflict, confusion, and political tension unfold before the nation leaves many citizens questioning the direction our country is taking.

To the youth of this generation: 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. Our nation has already experienced periods of 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗹, and the weakening of institutions. History teaches us that when people become 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀, or 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀, the mistakes of the past slowly begin to repeat themselves.

At the same time, be careful of ideologies that promote 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, division, and the destruction of national identity. Never allow yourselves to be easily influenced by extremist or leftist movements that seek to divide Filipinos rather than unite them. True patriotism is not about destroying the nation - it is about helping rebuild it through 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆.

𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 is not protected by politicians alone. It is protected by 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, and 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 who value 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 and 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀.

May today’s youth become wiser than the generations before them. Let 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 be our guide - not a tragedy we are doomed to repeat.
