HEADS UP, RIDERS! HELMET ON, SAFETY FIRST.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Ronda District Office will officially implement OPLAN HEADSAFE starting June 2026 across the municipalities in the southwestern part of Cebu Province.
This intensified enforcement campaign focuses on strict compliance with Republic Act 10054 (The Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009), which requires all motorcycle riders and back riders to wear standard protective helmets at all times while driving.
๐ Please be reminded: Only STANDARD FULL-FACE and HALF-FACE helmets are ALLOWED. NUTSHELL HELMETS are STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will NOT be considered compliant under the helmet law.
๐ Remember: NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
There will be no excuses and no exemptions when it comes to road safety.
โ ๏ธ Penalties for violation:
โข 1st offense: โฑ1,500 fine
โข 2nd offense: โฑ3,000 fine
โข 3rd offense: โฑ5,000 fine
โข 4th & succeeding offenses: โฑ10,000 fine + confiscation/suspension of driverโs license
