A new chapter in the Josenian research journey officially began as Grade 11 and Grade 12 student-researchers gathered for PAGLAWIG 6.0: USJ-R SHS Research Scheme and Directions Orientation on July 1, 2026.

With the inspiring stories and practical insights shared by our alumni researchers—Kylene Claire Aying and Gabe Jeremy San Diego for the Grade 11 session, and Darianne Seville, Mitz Julianne Gabutan, and Daniella Tampus for the Grade 12 session—student-researchers were reminded that every research journey is marked by challenges, growth, and opportunities to create meaningful impact.

The session also walked students through this year's SHS Research Scheme and Directions, SHS Research Agenda, and the 9th Josenian SHS Research Summit, giving them a better understanding of what lies ahead.

As the voyage begins, may every question inspire curiosity, every challenge strengthen resilience, and every discovery become a meaningful contribution to our community. Here's to another year of learning, collaboration, and purposeful research.

𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘷𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

As we welcome another year of inquiry and innovation, PAGLAWIG 6.0 officially launches the SHS research journey for A.Y. 2026–2027. More than an orientation, it is a gathering that unites our student-researchers in a shared commitment to pursue research with integrity, curiosity, and purpose.

Through the PASSION session, our alumni researchers will share the experiences, challenges, lessons, and insights that shaped their own research journeys. In the PASS-IT-ON session, the SHS Research Team will introduce the research roadmap for the academic year, guiding students through the program's key directions, expectations, and opportunities.

Together, these sessions aim to prepare our student-researchers not only for the technical demands of research but also for the collaborative and transformative journey that lies ahead.

ANOTHER RESEARCH AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE 🇯🇵🇵🇭

Today was a special moment for learning and exchange as the USJ-R Student Activity Program Office, in partnership with the Research Cluster and the Samahang Pinoy Club, conducted the Student Research and Cultural Immersion Program. Our selected Grade 12 students proudly showcased their research prototypes and had the chance to interact with our visiting friends from Fukui Prefectural Fujishima Senior High School, Japan.

It was inspiring to see conversations unfold around ideas, innovation, and shared curiosity. Beyond presenting their work, our students also experienced what it means to connect through learning across cultures. A day filled with discovery, meaningful exchange, and new friendships in the making. 💛✨

GSL Season 4 Phase 2 Complete! 🇯🇵🇵🇭

The 4th iteration of the 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄, 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 was recently conducted in collaboration with Fujishima Senior High School (Japan), University of the Philippines - Cebu High School, Philippine Science High School, and the University of San Jose-Recoletos Senior High School.

Congratulations to all student-researchers from the Philippines and Japan for successfully completing the GSL Program! Throughout the exchange, participants enthusiastically presented their research projects, engaged in meaningful discussions, shared insights from their respective studies, and built connections with fellow young researchers from across borders. 🦾
