On October 2 (9:00 AM), the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM) proudly launched the “AMOMA sa Kaugmaon” program at the Saint Arnold Janssen Child Development Center in Inayawan.

This meaningful initiative focuses on nourishing children for a healthier and brighter future—through nutrient distribution, BMI tracking, and the provision of essential medicines. The project underscores Rotary’s continuing mission to support child wellness and community health. 🌟

On October 10 (6:00 PM), the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM) joined the Mooncake Festival Celebration held at the function room of DOH 7 beside CAP. The evening was filled with fellowship, learning, and fun as Rotarians gathered to celebrate camaraderie and cultural tradition. 🌕✨

The program featured an insightful talk on “Nutrition Concerns on the Cebu Earthquake” by Dr. Parolita “Letlet” Mission of the National Nutrition Council, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition, especially in times of disaster.

The celebration also included the Q3 Birthday Celebration for members born from July to September, and the much-awaited Dice Game, bringing laughter and excitement to everyone present. 🎉🎲

On October 18 (2:00–5:00 PM), the Area 1 Coordination Meeting was successfully held at Sinamay 1 & 2, Seda Central Bloc Cebu, graciously hosted by Area 1E. The event brought together Rotary leaders and members from across Area 1 to strengthen collaboration, share updates, and align upcoming plans and activities.

The featured topic, “When Service Meets Readiness: The Rotary Role in Disaster Resilience,” was presented by Dr. Wyben R. Briones, who emphasized the crucial role Rotary plays in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. His insights inspired Rotarians to continuously build resilient communities through proactive service and partnerships.
