“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.” Gal. 2:20-21
Living a transformed life is accomplished by simply allowing Christ to live in and through us.
What part do we play in this verse? Only two things:
1. Be crucified (die in your old self)
2. Live by faith in Jesus, the Son of God.
There is no mention of any work than to make ourselves available to believe what truth is. Receive His truth and then live by faith in Christ.
God called us to cooperate with God in this process and be equip.
God’s Spirit has a job to sanctify, refine our faith, renew our mind, and change our hearts to be fruitful by the fruit of His Spirit.
So what’s the best life, living and groping in darkness? or walking in the Spirit of Grace and truth?
