In celebration of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 (𝐍𝐃𝐑) 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤, JIKFI proudly supported the 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 held on July 17–21, 2026 at Conference Room 1, 5F Meridian, Cebu City.

Presented by 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠'𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐲 in cooperation with 𝐏𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐈𝐆, 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, and 𝐉𝐈𝐊𝐅𝐈, the five-day training gathered 25 rehabilitation professionals—20 Physical Therapists and 5 Occupational Therapists—from Bohol, Cebu, Capiz, Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Southern Leyte, Zamboanga del Norte, and Zamboanga del Sur to strengthen their knowledge and skills in providing evidence-based interventions for children with cerebral palsy and other developmental conditions.

JIKFI is proud to have our DREAM Program therapists, Charlize Ianne C. del Carmen, PTRP, and Dale Ashley Y. Kuizon, OTRP, among the participants who completed the course, reaffirming our commitment to continuous learning and quality rehabilitation services for children with disabilities.

This activity reflects our shared commitment to advancing disability inclusion by investing in competent professionals, promoting evidence-based rehabilitation, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

Our heartfelt thanks to 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 – 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 for hosting the training, and to our valued program partners, 𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐎-𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐚 and 𝐌𝐒𝐖𝐃-𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐢, for their unwavering support.

As we conclude this year's National Disability Rights Week, JIKFI remains steadfast in championing the rights, dignity, inclusion, and well-being of persons with disabilities through collaboration, capacity-building, and compassionate service.

For 35 years, Juanito I. King Foundation, Inc. (JIKFI) has remained committed to its mission of serving communities and transforming lives through health and education programs.

On May 20, 2026, we celebrated this meaningful milestone through a community mission in Brgy. Dakit, Barili, Cebu — a place that also marks our 20 years of partnership with the Municipality of Barili.

Together with our partners, volunteers, and supporters, we provided dental services, consultative therapy services, meal sharing, and a fun-filled kids’ zone, bringing smiles, hope, and care to the community.

On May 20, 2026, Juanito I. King Foundation, Inc. (JIKFI) proudly celebrated its 35th Foundation Day — marking 35 years of service and transforming lives. This occasion also commemorated a meaningful milestone of 20 years of partnership with the Municipality of Barili.

As part of the celebration, JIKFI brought various community services to Brgy. Dakit, Barili, Cebu, including dental services, consultative therapy services, meal sharing, and a kids’ fun zone for the community.

Our Project SIKAP Culminating Activity in Brgy. Buot, Cebu City celebrated the wonderful journey shared by our scholars and young learners throughout the program. Through fun-filled games, interactive activities, and shared experiences, the children showcased their growth, confidence, and learning gained during the sessions.

More than the activities, this celebration reflects the spirit of service, encouragement, and hope that Project SIKAP continues to bring to the community. 💙

For four Sundays, we’re teaching, inspiring, and creating safe spaces for kids aged 5–8 through fun and engaging sessions in Reading, Math, English, and Science.
