The Philippine Junior Jaycees - University of San Carlos Local Organization (LO) Chapter, otherwise known as JJC University of San Carlos (JJC USC), was chartered in 1985. However, its conception dates back to the year 1975 under the Metropolitan Cebu Junior Jaycees - USC Chapter making it one of the first school-based Junior Jaycee organizations in the Visayas and one of the first leadership-based organizations in the University of San Carlos. Since its conception, JJC University of San Carlos has bagged multiple awards from National and Area Conventions of JJC Philippines. It is also a consistent recipient of USC's "The Outstanding Campus Student Organization" Award. Now in its 38th year as a Local Organization Chapter, JJC USC continues to empower the Carolinians, and the youth in general, to create a positive change.

𝑨 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔.

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, REAVO Cebu joined the USC Junior Jaycees for the 𝑲𝑨𝑩𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑵 𝑺𝑨 𝑮𝑼𝑮𝑴𝑨: 𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑬𝑬 𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑶𝑵𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑳𝑶𝑽𝑬, starting our journey of care and connection with the elderly residents of the House of the Lord and Seven Sisters Servants of Mary Elderly Home Inc. in Talisay City, Cebu.

Through the wellness checks, basic health assessments, hygiene kits, snacks, and most importantly, meaningful companionship, our volunteers spent the afternoon creating precious moments with our resident lolos and lolas. 🤍

Phase 1 may be the start, but the journey does not end here. Together, we look forward to continuing this commitment to compassionate service throughout the succeeding phases of Kabilin sa Gugma.

This 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, it's time to gather for 𝑷𝒖𝒍𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓: 𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏, a leadership development seminar that invited participants to look inward, discover their potential, and reflect on the kind of leader they aspire to become. 💙

Through meaningful discussions, self-reflection, and shared experiences, participants explored their strengths, values, motivations, and areas for growth. More than simply learning what it means to lead, the seminar encouraged every participant to recognize that leadership is a continuous journey—one shaped by learning, accountability, purposeful action, and the courage to grow.

Because leadership is not defined by a title or position. It begins with understanding who we are, knowing what we stand for, and choosing to create positive change wherever we are. ✨

𝗧𝗟𝗦 𝟭: 𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗟 — 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 brought our members together for an afternoon of discovery, connection, and orientation as we got to know more about JJC USC, our purpose, our values, and the journey that awaits us as Jaycees.
