This system serves as a reliable backup communication network during signal blackouts caused by disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, and other emergencies.

Solar CloudGrid units were successfully deployed to family beneficiaries on Caubian Island through the initiative of the young students from ISS International School Singapore. This community-driven project was made possible with the support of their teachers, ILC Singapore Pte Ltd, and Catena Impact, in collaboration with the Lapu-Lapu City LGU, LLC DRRMO, and Barangay Caubian.

The initiative promotes community resilience, disaster preparedness, and climate action while improving access to clean and reliable energy for off-grid communities, specially in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA)

As classes begin next week, the team successfully deployed Solar CloudGrid Units to two family beneficiaries and students of ๐“๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ. A few months ago, Teacher Nowell shared the story of these two students and how he helped build a simple shelter for their family despite difficult circumstances.

Today, these families now have access to clean and sustainable energy for efficient lighting and mobile phone charging, helping provide a safer and more conducive environment for learning at home.

This deployment was made possible through the support of the ๐๐š๐ญ๐š๐ง๐  ๐Ž๐ฉ๐จ๐ง ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐€๐ง๐ง๐š๐›๐ž๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ๐จ๐ง in partnership with the Lapu-Lapu City Government headed by ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐ข๐ง๐๐ข ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง
