Our team is dedicated to giving vulnerable kids a hope and a future. PRO.VISION KIDS is a branch of our children/youth ministry directed & financially supported by donations to PRO.VISION PHILIPPINES, INC., and in partnership with Christian Frontier Ministries. Administrative Manager: Judith Soliba

The PRO.VISION KIDS ministry is supported by charitable donations and gifts from our friends and partners both local and foreign. The Jesus Fellowship (TJF church on White Road in Inayawan) supports church member-led PRO.VISION KIDS outreaches directly from their local church, as does the CFM church in Zamboanga City.

POURING L.I.F.E. INTO YOUNG LIVES FROM THE SLUMS of CEBU

In celebration of Women’s Month, we discussed the life of Hannah and the powerful lessons her story teaches about faith, persistent prayer, and trust in God’s timing. ⏳⏰📆

😇 Kids were also reminded about how humility and gratitude can transform life's challenges. 😇

🙏🏽The children shared the things they have been longing and praying for. We encouraged them to never lose hope and to continue seeking God in prayer, just as Hannah did. 🙏🏽

☝🏽We challenged them to thank God for the answers to their prayers and one day share their testimonies on how God answered their prayers.☝🏽

VISITING TEAM PROVIDES EYE CARE

Earlier in March, the Glory Reborn ministry and a short term missions team from Texas visited the Pro.Vision center in Inayawan to offer free eye checkups and reading eyeglasses!!

Adults from the community received reading glasses and were so blessed! Also, some of the PV staff availed, including Jenny, Arlyn and Ptr Rey.

💥💥Such a Powerful Testimony!💥💥

Luke (a former co-worker at Pro.Vision) came to visit our Saturday Pro.Vision fellowship with his wife, Sweety, to share how the Lord has been working in his life.

The kids sat with rapt attention as Luke shared with his trademark humor and wit. Luke has always connected so well with a group of kids or youth.

He shared how he didn’t give up after being often rejected, how he remained thankful, how he continued to honor his parents, and how the Lord was faithful to lead and guide him until now.

Today, Luke and Sweety are the founders and overseers of a very successful coffee business in Zamboanga: ALEGRE & MORE.
(Also a thriving second-hand clothing shop!)

Luke & Sweety’s lives are both a living testimony to the younger generation how practically God loves & helps us when we obey His Word.

🌷💜PVK Valentine’s Day 💜🌷
A JOINT TEENS FELLOWSHIP for INAYAWAN and LAPU-LAPU

A special fellowship was held for our teens from Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City and Inayawan, Cebu City to celebrate Valentine’s Day together.

The theme, “Knowing God, Knowing You,” was designed to help the teens discover their identity in Christ while fostering positive interactions with the opposite s*x in a friendly and welcoming environment. It also encouraged them to explore God's unique attributes and character.

Before the program began, the teens were asked to line up and walk down the aisle with a randomly assigned partner. Throughout the fellowship, each pair was encouraged to treat each other with kindness and friendliness.

Following the processional, the teens sang “Goodness of God” with heartfelt enthusiasm, and one of them led the group in prayer.

With their partners, each pair was given time to get to know one another—not just by exchanging names, but by sharing interesting facts about themselves. In this unique “dating” setup, the group studied God’s word, discovering their true identity in Christ :

• A child of God John 1:12
• New Creation 2 Corinthians 5:17
• Created in God’s Image Gen 1:27
• We are God’s masterpiece Eph 2:10
• We are loved Jer 3:13
* We are precious in His sight 1 Cor 6:19-20

We look forward to continuing this meaningful discussion at our next Saturday fellowship.

Additionally, we celebrated all January and February birthday celebrants with a joyful rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song and a special birthday cupcake for each, giving everyone a chance to make a wish.

🌟The Best PVK Couple🌟 was recognized and each received a new Bible as their award. Special prizes were also given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runner-ups. The winners were chosen based on their adherence to the guidelines provided beforehand: wearing the prescribed, modest attire (skirts for the ladies and pants for the gentlemen); the boys presenting a flower to their partner; each pair demonstrating confidence, respect and friendliness in their interactions with one another and with the group; the gentlemen exhibiting courteous behavior, and the ladies displaying modesty and grace.

A NEW YEAR HAS BEGUN & PRO.VISION IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

The last two weeks of January marked the vibrant kickoff of our Saturday fellowship for Pro.Vision kids and teens.

This year’s theme, “Keep Going, Keep Growing,” inspired us to focus on the children’s physical development first.

We measured each child’s height and weight, and the kids enjoyed discovering each other's progress and new growth.

We had a wonderful time during our “How are you?” moments; reconnecting with friends and learning new things about one another.

Praise and worship were magnificent! The kids participated enthusiastically throughout, as if they never ran out of energy.

Pastor Rey prayed for each child, and we reminded everyone that, like Jesus, we are called to grow in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and people.

At mealtime, we served the kids their favorite healthy food from last year: Mongo soup with vegetables, a slice of apple, and chicken tenders. A glass of water was enough to satisfy their appetites.

For those children who are small or underweight, we ensured they received vitamins, generously provided to us by CCT.

Blessings on all who are so faithfully supporting this important ministry to children and youth in the slum communities of Cebu & Lapu-Lapu!

With the blessing of the Lord, we are off to a strong start for 2026!

💥Looking back at 2025 with highlights, victories, and challenges in the lives of Pro.Vision Kids volunteers, including many touching personal testimonies.💥

During our gathering, one of the volunteers shared her personal experience. Since becoming a volunteer, she’s observed that God has been guiding her away from unhealthy habits and her worldly lifestyle. Now that she has come to know Christ, she has remained sober and intentionally strives to live a life that honors Him.

Another volunteer expressed that her involvement introduced her to the teachings of the Bible. She now regularly reads the Word of God, which has empowered her and given her renewed hope.

Thankful to all those who support the Pro.Vision ministry because we are not only impacting the lives of hundreds of little lives —- but also God is working within the lives of so many parents.

On to house number four during the Pro.Vision Kids “GIVE BACK ON CHRISTMAS” ministry. This outreach occurred within the neighborhood where our center is located.

“We love because HE first loved us”, so the Pro.Vision Kids learned a great practical life application lesson this season (both in word & deed), and that was to reach out to others even less fortunate than themselves, and to be a channel of love and blessings — in whatever form that may take.

On to the second home ! The Pro.Vision Kids arrived with big hearts prepared to give their gifts to another family in need.

It is better to give than to receive! That is what Jesus taught us. Freely we have received, freely we give!

This family welcomed the Christmas troupe from Pro.Vision and were both overwhelmed & so thankful for the many practical gifts they received!

The Pro.Vision Kids carried out a most significant activity for Christmas which was called, “GIVE BACK ON CHRISTMAS DAY.”

These photos show how the simple plan was launched in September. Upon learning from God’s Word that it is better to give than to receive, the Pro.Vision Kids began bringing items from their own home each week when they met.

As the box became full, the joy also increased, because these gifts were to be wrapped and distributed to four extremely needy families in the neighborhood.

Immediately after the recent earthquakes that rocked Cebu, the Pro.Vision Kids gathered together.

Sis. Judith took this golden opportunity, when fear shook the hearts of the kids, to turn their fear of death into putting their trust in our great God!

We are still praising God, as we are convinced that whatever happens we are His child; HE loves us and we need to rise above our fears to keep on trusting Him with our future. It was a time to pray for each child and their families.

Many of the kids surprisingly brought their siblings to this meeting and Judith had the joy of leading them all to put their faith and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord!

(Rice is not only a staple food in the Philippines in every Filipino home, but the main dish at every meal!).
