Summer memories that last a lifetime! ☀️

Our boys from Don Bosco Boys' Home - Liloan recently returned from an incredible week at the annual summer camp in Badian, Cebu (April 13-18, 2026). Joining forces with other youth agencies, our boys immersed themselves in the theme: "Fostering Mental Health by Strengthening Child Security and Belongingness."
From the refreshing waters of Kawasan Falls and the nearby sea to the vibrant energy of the Barrio Fiesta, every moment was designed to build community and resilience. Whether it was through insightful talks, team games, or the warmth of the bonfire, our boys truly felt the power of belonging.
We hope the lessons learned and the friendships made stay with them forever.

The School Year 2025–2026 has been a meaningful journey for our Don Bosco Boys’ Home community. This video captures some of the beautiful moments we shared together — moments of learning, laughter, prayer, challenges, and victories.

Through daily activities, formation programs, celebrations, and community life, our boys continue to grow not only in knowledge but also in character, faith, and friendship. Each experience has helped shape them into better young people, guided by the spirit of St. John Bosco.

Today, as the Church celebrates Holy Thursday, we commemorate the Institution of the Priesthood. It was on this sacred night, during the Last Supper, that Jesus shared the Eucharist with His apostles and commanded them to "do this in memory of me," establishing the very first priests.
Here at Don Bosco Boys' Home - Liloan, we are truly grateful and blessed to have five priests in our community. 🏠✨
In the spirit of the Washing of the Feet, they serve us with humility and heart. They are our shepherds, our mentors, and our fathers, guiding us closer to Christ through their life of service and sacrifice.
On this beautiful feast of the priesthood, please join us in praying for our Salesian priests, that they may continue to be strengthened in their mission to serve the young. 😇💙

Today, March 31, 2026, marks the beginning of summer vacation for our boys! The excitement on their faces says it all—they have been looking forward to this break.

We started our day at 4:30 AM to hit the road early. After final cleaning and wrapping up with some last-minute instructions and orientation, we personally dropped them off at their homes.

Our prayer is that they take all the good lessons they’ve learned this school year and apply them within their own families. 🏠✨

"Lansang"—a powerful symbol of our human failings, and an even greater symbol of God's mercy.

Tonight, our boys at Don Bosco Boys' Home Liloan took part in a Lenten Recollection facilitated by Fr. Dan. Through the act of hammering nails into the cross and burning their written burdens, the boys engaged in a transformative process of confession and healing.

We are truly grateful to Fr. Dan for leading this impactful session as we reflect during this Holy Week.

Today was a special day at St. John Bosco-Cotcot National High School as we celebrated the graduation rites! 🎓 We are incredibly proud of our boys for reaching this milestone.

A huge congratulations to Ahr Jay Bontilao, Godfrey Adarna, and Glen Benedick Alburo. We are beaming with pride knowing that all three of them are graduating "With Honors" among their respective awards! 🌟
