Gibutang sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) sa red ug yellow alert status ang Visayas grid karong Mayo 13, 2026.

Gipatuman ang red alert gikan alas 3:00 sa hapon hangtod alas 8:00 sa gabii, samtang yellow alert usab gikan alas 8:00 hangtod alas 9:00 sa gabii.

Sumala sa NGCP, ang available nga kapasidad sa kuryente miabot sa 2,510 megawatts (MW), samtang ang peak demand niabot sa 2,413 MW.

Gipadayag usab sa NGCP nga adunay 12 ka power plant nga naka-forced outage sukad Marso 2026, upat sukad 2025, duha sukad 2024, duha sukad 2023, ug usa sukad 2021. Dugang pa, adunay 15 ka planta nga nag-operate sa derated capacities, nga nakaresulta sa total unavailable supply nga 862.3 MW.

Lakip sa mga hinungdan sa alerts mao ang forced outage sa TVI Unit 1 (169 MW), TVI Unit 2 (169 MW), ug PEDC Unit 3 (150 MW), kakulang sa imported power gikan sa Luzon, ug taas nga demand sa sistema.

Ang red alert ginapahibalo kung dili na igo ang supply sa kuryente aron matubag ang demand sa mga konsumidor ug ang regulating requirement sa transmission grid. Samtang ang yellow alert ginadeklara kung kulang ang operating margin aron matubag ang contingency requirement sa grid.
