Today, September 9, we commemorate the 148th birth anniversary of Don Sergio Osmeña Sr.—a proud Cebuano, distinguished statesman, and the 4th President of the Philippines. 💙💜

Known for his humility, integrity, and profound dedication to public service, President Osmeña played a pivotal role in rebuilding the nation during one of its most challenging eras. His commitment to putting the collective good above self-interest serves as a timeless guiding light for student leaders and future visionaries.

As Don Sergio Osmeña Sr. wisely reminded us:

"𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡."

Today, we honor his legacy by continuing to build a united, strong, and purpose-driven community.

Enjoy the holiday, stay safe, and let’s keep his inspiring legacy alive!

Today, August 28th, the entire JBEES community joins in celebrating the Feast Day of 𝐒𝐭. 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐨, a Great Doctor of the Church and a patron of students, scholars, and theologians. ⛪️

Known for his relentless pursuit of truth, deep wisdom, and transformational faith, St. Augustine reminds us that real growth comes from continuous learning, humility, and seeking higher purpose in all that we do.

May his life and teachings inspire us to pursue excellence with integrity and serve others with a compassionate heart. 💙💜

Happy Feast Day, JBEESIANS! 🙌
