A little reminiscence of Research Society's High Strength Concrete Competition, where our Kongkretong Researchers put their knowledge, teamwork, and creativity to the test.

From calculating mix proportions and preparing their own concrete to the curing process and final compressive strength testing, every step was a hands-on challenge. Each team had one goal: create concrete that could withstand the test.

More than the numbers on the Universal Testing Machine, the competition gave everyone an opportunity to learn through experience, work together, and turn lessons into something concrete.

A little throwback to Research Society's ๐’๐ข๐ญ๐ž ๐•๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ at Kimwa Construction and Development Corporation, where our Kongkretong Researchers stepped beyond the classroom and into the field.

From exploring ready-mixed concrete production and construction equipment to witnessing concrete mixing and slump testing, every moment brought classroom concepts to life.

The knowledge he gained, especially on ACI and ASTM codes, later helped him in the CMT Laboratory. More importantly, he found a community that encouraged him to learn, grow, and become more confident as a future civil engineer. Along the way, he built meaningful friendships, learned from experienced mentors, and discovered that growth happens when he steps outside his comfort zone. What once felt intimidating eventually became one of the most rewarding parts of his college journey.

What began as a leap of faith became one of the most meaningful chapters of our former ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐, ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐‹๐ž๐ ๐š๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข ๐๐ž๐ฃ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ฌ๐œ๐จ'๐ฌ, college journey. What she once thought was just about papers and research became a community that inspired her to think critically, stay curious, and grow beyond the classroom.

Through hands-on activities, site visits, competitions, and mentorship, she discovered that research is more than a requirement, it is a mindset that equips future engineers to solve real-world problems with knowledge, innovation, and purpose.

But beyond the achievements, she found something even more valuable: genuine friendships, inspiring mentors, and a ๐™†๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ ๐™ง๐™š๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™‹๐™–๐™ข๐™ž๐™ก๐™ฎ๐™– that encouraged her to keep growing.
