Recently, the Regional Alternative Child Care Office VII (RACCO 7) visited Rancho ni Cristo to update our social workers on the latest policies and programs related to alternative child care. 💙

The meeting covered the legal frameworks for adoption and foster care, accreditation requirements under the National Authority for Child Care (NACC), and upcoming program developments that will shape child care services in the future.

Visits like these help ensure that we continue providing informed, high-quality, and child-centered care while effectively navigating both public and private child protection systems. 🌱✨

Each year, the clients of C.U.R.E. Foundation, Inc. participate in a program evaluation activity to help the organization continually improve its programs and better serve the girls in our care. 💙

Using a SWOT analysis, the girls reflect on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities for improvement, and potential threats within our programs. Their honest feedback helps ensure that Rancho ni Cristo continues to provide relevant, compassionate, and client-centered care that meets their evolving needs.

Today, we observe World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. 💙

📻 On July 12, the Children's Legal Bureau (CLB) invited two of our social workers to be interviewed on Radio Philippines Network (RPN) DYKC in anticipation of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, observed each year on July 30.

During the interview, Ms. Cherry May Cahanap and Ms. Mariel Mandalucay shared the services and programs that C.U.R.E. Foundation provides as a residential aftercare shelter for survivors of human trafficking. They also spoke about the importance of our collective effort to combat human trafficking and how each of us can help prevent the exploitation of vulnerable members of our community. 🤝✨

We are grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about human trafficking and to advocate for the safety, dignity, and well-being of every individual. ❤️

☀️🏊‍♀️ To wrap up this year’s annual Youth Camp, the girls, staff, and our wonderful team from Australia spent the day enjoying some summer fun at the pool! 💙🌊

Our amazing house parents prepared delicious snacks and a hearty lunch for everyone to enjoy. 🥭🍜🍗 With the sun shining overhead and the cool pool water keeping everyone refreshed, it was the perfect way to celebrate an unforgettable week together. ☀️

✨ Happy 2-Year Anniversary to the Piano Program! 🎉🎹

For the past two years, this program has been helping students grow their musical skills and confidence. It currently includes five RNC students and is built around a peer mentorship model, where the more experienced girls teach, encourage, and inspire new learners. 💙

Using the Faber Piano Adventures series, they continue working through their books and developing their skills week by week. Here's to another year of music, learning, and growth! 🎶✨
