Today, we joyfully celebrate the 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗣𝗖𝗖 and the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝗖𝗥𝗔) 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, in partnership with 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 – 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆.

As we celebrate this silver milestone, we honor 25 years of listening, protecting, and walking with children in hope. Together with children, families, volunteers, partners, and communities, we renew our commitment to creating safe, nurturing, compassionate, and child-friendly communities where every child can flourish.

Today, we will also share parish aspirations, present the RCAC Implementing Plan (IP), and engage in meaningful conversations and collaborative planning for the years ahead.

May this celebration be a day of gratitude, unity, reflection, and renewed hope as we continue walking together in the mission of protecting, empowering, and accompanying every child. 💚

For 25 years, SPCC has journeyed alongside children, families, Child Rights Advocates, volunteers, Salvatorian Sisters, parishes, partners, donors, and communities who have shared in this mission.

Tomorrow, we celebrate the stories, milestones, partnerships, and countless moments of hope that have shaped SPCC’s journey.

But this celebration is also a new beginning—a renewed commitment to continue promoting children’s rights, strengthening families, empowering communities, and building safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environments.

As we look back with gratitude, we celebrate the lives touched, the communities strengthened, and the many people who have shared in this mission.

For 25 years, SPCC has worked with parishes and communities to strengthen child protection and establish safe, caring, and child-friendly environments.

Through its partnership with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu (RCAC) – Safeguarding of Minors and Vulnerable Adults Ministry, SPCC-Cebu continues to promote child protection, legal awareness, youth formation, volunteer development, and safeguarding initiatives.

Through regular formation sessions, planning meetings, parish-based activities, and archdiocesan-wide programs, we strengthen our shared mission of building a safe, child-friendly, and faith-filled Church.

Child protection becomes stronger when people choose to listen, care, and take action.

For 25 years, SPCC has supported the formation and capability-building of Child Rights Advocates (CRAs)—adults, youth, and children who serve as partners and frontline advocates in promoting and protecting the rights of children and women.

Through training, formation, and active community participation, CRAs help prevent abuse, violence, exploitation, neglect, and discrimination while promoting safe and child-friendly communities.

Their commitment reminds us that protecting children is not the responsibility of one person alone—it is a shared mission.

Every story opens a door to learning, imagination, and hope.

Through the Book Reading Program (BRP), SPCC provides children with safe and child-friendly learning spaces where they can discover the joy of reading and develop literacy, creativity, self-confidence, communication skills, and positive values.

Through storytelling, interactive activities, and shared learning, children are encouraged to express themselves, participate actively, and appreciate the power of stories.

The program also strengthens the partnership among families, parish volunteers, and youth facilitators in supporting children’s holistic development.
