Time waits for no oneโ€”and neither does change.

With the implementation of the updated class schedule, classes for Night learners now extend until 9:00 PM. As this adjustment continues to be observed, the Supreme Secondary Learners' Government (SSLG) would like to hear the thoughts, experiences, and sentiments of our fellow learners.

Do you agree with the extension of classes until 9:00 PM? Why or why not? Has the adjustment made your daily routine more manageable, or has it brought new challenges regarding transportation, safety, responsibilities at home, or learning?

A new school year calls for new beginnings, and what better way to start than by getting to know the people who make Lahug National High School a home for learning and growth?

Through the Meet and Greet Program held for both Junior High School and Senior High School learners, students were warmly welcomed by the school's administrators, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, recognized clubs and organizations, and SSLG officers. The activity served as an avenue for learners to familiarize themselves with the school's policies, expectations, and opportunities while building connections with fellow students and members of the LNHS community.

The program also featured engaging discussions, sharing of experiences, interactive activities, and open forums that encouraged participation and meaningful conversations. These moments allowed students to gain valuable insights, ask questions, and begin the academic year with confidence and enthusiasm.

As we embark on another year of learning, leadership, and service, may this gathering remind every learner that they are an important part of the LNHS family. Together, let us create a school year filled with growth, collaboration, and memorable experiences.
