LOOK: Learners from Mabolo National High School get a chance to experience the EY STEM App during the SHS Career Fair last May 16, 2024. With the assistance of the interns who have worked with Children of Asia Philippines, they get to be introduced with the app's features that help empower young women through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

They were encouraged to answer an impact assessment survey and share the EY STEM App to their friends and family in exchange of a free t-shirt and a chance to win mobile prepaid load.

This initiative is done to further expand the reach of the said app to the school community and promote gender equality in the access of STEM careers.

LOOK: One hundred (100) female learners from Mabolo National High School get to be empowered in the EQUALS EY STEM App Soiree event last March 21, 2024, where they get to be introduced with the EY STEM App and its features that empower young women by exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) topics.

They were encouraged to share the EY STEM App to their fellow classmates, friends, and relatives to further expand the reach in the app beyond the school community.

LOOK: The EY STEM App is an app for girls and young women to be empowered through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) topics. Children of Asia - Project YUNIT in cooperation with EQUALS Global Partnership conducted a community sharing of the EY STEM App to the students and vulnerable women of Barangay Ermita, Cebu City.

LOOK: Children of Asia - Project YUNIT in cooperation with EQUALS Global Partnership conducted the EY STEM App Workshop last March 9, 2024 at Cebu Business Hotel, Cebu City. COA beneficiaries, students and teachers of COA's partner schools, beneficiaries and parents of DICE Center Ermita, and interns from Mabolo National High School came together to be introduced to the newly-launched EY STEM App, an app for girls and young women to be empowered through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) topics.

Teachers from the 9 partner schools from Cebu City and Cebu Province who completed the 30 hours training from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) were awarded certificates. The training is part of the YUNIT project's INSPIRE initiative of enhancing teachers skills in distance learning and ICT.

LOOK: Project YUNIT by Children of Asia Philippines continues its lineup of Participatory Assessment Year 3 events through its leg at the Zapatera Elementary School (ZES) in Sikatuna St., Cebu City last February 16, 2024. It was attended by members of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) and Supreme Primary Learner Government (SPLG) of the said school.
