Daily Bread for the Soul

Today’s readings remind us that faith, truth, justice, and wisdom are the pillars of freedom in Christ:

1 Samuel 14:1–52 — Jonathan’s courage brings victory; Saul’s rash oath shows the danger of pride.

John 7:31–53 — Many believe in Jesus, though leaders resist Him; His authority comes from the Father.

Psalm 109:1–31 — A cry for God’s justice against deceitful enemies, trusting His deliverance.

Proverbs 15:5–7 — Wisdom builds blessing; folly destroys.

This manna is our nourishment: courage to act, truth to stand firm, justice to trust, and wisdom to walk in blessing.
