โ™ป๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ Guess who's already kicking off the new school year in San Carlos School of Cebu with some positive action?

During the opening and welcoming week, The SCSC SPRCY greeted the new school year by ensuring that Carolinians are able to head start the year with a cleaner environment. This initiative was made possible with the help of the Youth Advocate for the Preservance of Environment and other fellow non SCSC SPRCY Carolinian volunteers.

As part of the organizations drive for service, we're ensuring our areas are clean after all the events going on around the school's gymnasium, with all waste being properly disposed of.

Huge thanks to everyone who participated! If you're passionate about preserving our environment, we'd love for you to join us for future activities like these. Every hand, mind and action matters, for the sake of making our planet greener and cleanerโœจ

On July 22, 2025, the San Carlos School of Cebu - Senior Plus Red Cross Youth proudly hosted "The Tipping Point: Where Action Speaks," a CPR event held in line with the Philippine Red Cross CPR Caravan.

We're thrilled to report that an estimated 1,800 students eagerly participated, gaining vital hands-on CPR techniques. They acquired crucial knowledge on recognizing the symptoms of cardiac arrest or heart attack and, more importantly, learned how to take immediate action in such critical situations.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Ma'am Maria Vera De Jesus, the Cebu Chapter Administrator of the Philippine Red Cross, for sharing her inspiring message with everyone present. A huge thank you also goes to the ambulance crew and our esteemed CPR instructors from the Philippine Red Cross Cebu Chapter:

Special thanks are also due to our ambulance crew seniors, Emmanuel Jose Lauronilla and Mark Niรฑo Abrinica, who conducted an insightful ambulance orientation for aspiring EMS volunteers. This event wouldn't have been possible without these dedicated individuals. We applaud their commitment to educating fellow Carolinians, equipping the students with essential life-saving skills.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated. Your presence made this event a powerful reminder of humanity's willingness to care for others and eagerness to learn skills that create a safer environment. We look forward to more successful events with you all in the future! ๐Ÿ’–
