Denver Abendan of Bogo City doesn’t need many words. In his quiet embrace, you can feel everything, relief after the surgery, courage through the journey, and a gratitude so deep it overflows beyond words.

From a child who once carried a burden, to a smile now being restored, this is why we serve.

As he waits for his post-op check this Friday, we are reminded that every act of service becomes a life changed, a family uplifted, and a future made brighter.

This Sunday, March 15, 2026, we invite healthcare professionals, speech-language pathologists, parents, and community members to take part in a meaningful learning session on speech, velopharyngeal function, and feeding issues in children with cleft palate.

While surgical missions restore smiles, the journey of care goes far beyond the operating room. Understanding speech development, feeding challenges, and long-term therapy is essential in helping children live fuller and more confident lives. This session provides an opportunity for professionals and the community to learn, share knowledge, and strengthen the support system for these children and their families.

This learning session will be held from 3:00–4:30 PM at Adventist Hospital Cebu (Miller Hospital), 4th Floor Main Conference Hall.

Admission is free and participants will receive a certificate from Rotaplast International.
