Our alumni spent the day with our Residential Care Beneficiaries, stepping into the role of staff and sharing their time, energy, and compassion. From engaging moments with the residents to helping prepare for the upcoming Hayag Anniversary on May 3, it was truly a day of connection and purpose.

As part of our Easter Sunday celebration, we rejoiced in the resurrection of Christโ€”a reminder of hope, renewal, and new life. It was a meaningful time for our girls and staff to reflect on Godโ€™s love and the victory of life over death.

As part of the celebration, we also held an Easter egg hunt. Our girls actively participated and truly enjoyed the activity. Each scholar completed a fun dare based on the number of eggs they foundโ€”they sang, danced, acted, ate, and shared greetings at Balay Pagtabok, along with many other enjoyable activities.

Through prayer, fellowship, and thanksgiving, we celebrated this special day with grateful hearts, embracing the joy and promise that Easter brings.

As part of our Holy Week observance, our girls and staff received the Sacrament of Confession, attended Holy Mass, and completed the Visita Iglesia by visiting seven churches. It is truly a blessed tradition that we continue each yearโ€”a day of prayer, reflection, and renewed faith.

On Good Friday, we made our way to Banawa Good Shepherd at dawn to participate in the Stations of the Cross. Walking in silence and prayer, each station allowed us to reflect deeply on Christโ€™s suffering and unconditional love.

This meaningful journey reminded us to remain faithful, to carry our own crosses with strength, and to always trust in His greater plan.

As part of our commitment to serve with care and integrity, one of our key processes before accepting beneficiaries into our programs is the Home Visitation Assessment and Evaluation. This step is essential in helping us better understand each applicantโ€™s situation, ensuring that our support reaches those who truly need it and are best suited for the program.
