CEBU INTERCOLLEGIATE COUNCIL

In the year 2005 Bro Jayross San Juan Grand Skeptron of AMA Alpha Rho Chapter, Bro Ramz, and Bro Frank Adlawan both from UV Main Alpha Psi Chapter invited the other collegiate chapters for a meeting to unite the Alpha Chapters of Cebu which was held at Kiosk Billiard Hall beside AMA Jones Campus and these were the first chapters who attended, Alpha Gamma-UC Banilad Extension with Bro Don Carlos Coronado(GS), Alpha Delta-Cebu Doctors College, Alpha Psi-UV Main, Alpha Rho-AMA, Alpha Chi-Velez College with Bro Ray Moreno(GS), and Alpha Zeta-SWU with Bro Junrey Tindoy(GS) who was the first appointed to lead the collegiate chapters. During Bro Tindoy’s lead, the Cebu Supreme Council made it “Collegiate District” because the Local Councils we knew today were called Districts before and majority of the other remaining collegiate chapters began to support including chapters from Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu City. In 2007, Bro Arnold “Oplok” Bontia of UC Banilad Alpha Xi Chapter(re established in 2006) replaced Bro Tindoy as Chairman of the Collegiate District and during his time in the year 2008 he held a general meeting at Fruits and Foods near University of San Carlos Boys High in which more than ten collegiate chapters who attended the meeting including Cebu’s Mother Chapter USC Alpha with Bro Jaryl Morados as the Grand Skeptron, and there Bro Arnold and the other officers of Collegiate District decided to change the name and use "Cebu Intercollegiate Council". And also during that time there were some issues thrown on the Mother Council of Cebu. Our goal was to create a sub/local council that unites all chapters of college schools and universities. This marks the period of what it is today.

There are currently 23 collegiate chapters operating AKP-CIC.
