🎶 REDEEM THE WASTED YEARS 🎶

Have you ever looked back and wished you could recover the years you lost, the opportunities you missed, or the time you spent away from God?

We cannot change yesterday, but God can redeem what remains and give purpose to the years ahead.

I’m sharing my song, “Redeem the Wasted Years,” with the prayer that it will encourage someone who feels that too much time has already been lost.

It is never too late to return to the Lord. It is never too late to surrender what remains of our lives to Him.

Just as this traditional boat remains anchored despite the restless sea, our lives are secure when anchored in Christ. Storms will come, but God’s faithfulness never changes.

No matter what you’re facing today, remember that the safest place is not where the waters are calm, but where Christ is present.

Contend for the Faith

“Beloved, … earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” - Jude 1:3

Throughout history, God has raised men and women who refused to compromise the truth of the Gospel—leaders who spoke with courage when silence would have been safer. Their lives remind us that the faith we hold is precious and worth defending.

Today, the same call comes to us. Contending for the faith does not mean harshness or pride; it means living out the truth of God’s Word with conviction, humility, and love. It means sharing the hope of Christ in a culture that often resists it.

May we draw strength from the Lord, be steadfast in Scripture, and shine His light wherever we are—so that future generations will know the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In every generation, God calls His people to stand firm for the truth of His Word. As Jude 1:3 reminds us, we are to ‘earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.’ Let us live courageously and speak boldly, not for earthly applause but for the glory of Christ. May our lives be a living testimony that the Gospel remains unshaken, and that the truth of God’s Word will endure forever.

Ephesians 2:8-9 states: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."

This emphasizes that salvation and eternal life is not achieved through our own efforts or good deeds, but is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ.

1. Salvation is by grace - it is undeserved and unearned, a gift from God.

2. It is accessed through faith - believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

3. It is not by our own works or efforts - nothing we do can earn or merit this salvation.

The passage is contra to the idea that we are saved by our religion, good works, or rituals like baptism. Rather, it is solely by God's grace and our trusting in Christ. This underscores the centrality of faith in Christ, rather than human effort, as the means of receiving eternal life. This is the core biblical teaching on the basis of salvation.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Placing your faith completely in God and His plan for your life. Pray fervently, trust wholeheartedly in God's power and wisdom, and then release your anxieties and concerns to Him, knowing that He is in control.

When we surrender our will to God and rest in His sovereignty, we can find peace and confidence, even in the midst of uncertainty.
