Faith is easy to talk about when everything is going well. But when our faith is tested, what do our choices reveal?

Daniel showed that faithfulness is not only about praying or believing. It was seen in his character, his work, his integrity, and his decision to keep trusting God even when obedience became difficult.

His story reminds us that following God does not mean we will never face trials. But even in the lionsโ€™ den, God remained in control.

May our faith be seen not only in what we say, but in how we live, especially when our faith is tested.

The second Youth Fellowship of September was worth remembering!

Gracebound Youth Fellowship gathered for another fun and meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and learning together. Through the message โ€œFaithful When Your Faith Is Tested,โ€ shared by Brother John Brian Abellana and based on Daniel 6:10, we were reminded that true faithfulness is revealed when our faith is tested.

Like Daniel, may we continue to live with integrity, stand firm under pressure, and trust God even when we do not understand the situation. Faithfulness does not mean having no problems, but knowing that God remains in control through every trial.

We welcomed September with a meaningful and eventful Sunday at Gracebound Youth Fellowship! As we said goodbye to August and stepped into a new month, we gathered in worship, fellowship, and testimonies of victory in Christ Jesus, celebrating Godโ€™s faithfulness and looking ahead with hope and trust in Him.

Through the message โ€œFaith That Matters Mostโ€ from Genesis 13:1-18, shared by Pastor Junnel Asenjo, we were reminded that genuine faith is not simply about what we can gain, but about trusting God even when faith calls us to let go.

Faith is not afraid to let go because faith trusts Godโ€™s provision. Faith sees beyond temporary opportunities and considers eternal consequences.

Like Abram, may we learn to choose what honors God, trust His provision when the path is uncertain, and look beyond what is temporary toward what truly matters.

What a beautiful way to begin September: with grateful hearts, renewed hope, and a faith that keeps its eyes on God. โœจ

And as we continue our journey through โ€œOrdinary People, Extraordinary God,โ€ may our lives continue to testify that an ordinary faith surrendered to God can make an extraordinary difference.

We continued the celebration at BGCCI with Pastor Junnel, where we learned more about Passing on our Heritage of Faith and reflected on the faith we have received, the faith we are called to live out, and the legacy we can leave for others.

With a small group, a visitor, fun games, and plenty of moments to laugh together, these two Sundays reminded us that fellowship can be both meaningful and fun.

Know your roots.
Value your heritage.
Live out your faith.
Leave a legacy that points to Christ.

And now, as we step into September, we continue our series โ€œOrdinary People, Extraordinary God.โ€ Thereโ€™s still more to learn, more stories to discover, and more ways to see how God works through ordinary people.

Last August, Gracebound Youth Fellowship celebrated Buwan ng Wika 2026 through two Sundays filled with learning, exploring, fellowship, laughter, and meaningful conversations about our heritage and faith.

We stepped outside the church and into history as we visited the National Museum of the Philippines โ€“ Cebu and Plaza Independencia, where Pastor Jeypee shared about โ€œAting Pamana at Pananampalataya.โ€ It was a meaningful reminder that our heritage tells stories of where we come from, while our faith shapes how we live and what we carry forward.

What a blessed Sunday with Gracebound Youth Fellowship!

Today, we officially began our two-month series, โ€œOrdinary People, Extraordinary God,โ€ with the message: The Journey of an Ordinary Man with an Extraordinary God based on Hebrews 11:8-10.

Through the journey of Abraham, Pastor Junnel Asenjo reminded us that God uses ordinary people who are willing to trust Him one step at a time.

Today, we learned that extraordinary faith:
๐Ÿ‘ฃ begins with obedience to God's call
๐Ÿ‘ฃ continues even in uncertain seasons
๐Ÿ‘ฃ looks beyond this world

Faith listens before it understands.
Faith obeys even without all the answers.
Faith keeps moving when the road ahead is unclear.

And faith looks beyond temporary circumstances toward God's eternal promises.

Perhaps we don't always know where God is leading us. In our friendships, career, ministry, and future, His plans may not always make sense right away. But we can still choose to take the next step.

Because an ordinary life surrendered to an extraordinary God becomes an extraordinary testimony.

"For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past."

We live in a world that often tells us we have to earn acceptance through our achievements, appearance, or performance. Sometimes we carry guilt over our mistakes and wonder if we'll ever be "good enough." But the gospel tells a different story.

Jesus didn't wait for us to become perfect before loving us. God sent His Son to take the punishment for our sins so that, through faith in Him, we could be forgiven and restored. Salvation isn't something we earn. It is a gift we receive by trusting in Christ. His sacrifice reminds us that our greatest need wasn't a second chance to fix ourselves, but a Savior who could do what we never could.

A new season of learning begins as Gracebound Youth Fellowship launches our new two-month series: "Ordinary People, Extraordinary God".

๐Ÿ’ญ When your hope is in God, your future is never without hope.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
โ€” Romans 15:13 (NIV)

It's easy to lose hope when life doesn't go as planned. A failed exam, a broken friendship, unanswered prayers, or uncertainty about the future can make us feel discouraged. But our hope was never meant to depend on perfect circumstancesโ€”it was always meant to rest in God.

Paul reminds us that God is the God of hope. As we choose to trust Him, He fills our hearts with joy and peace, even in the middle of life's uncertainties. And that hope isn't meant to stop with us. When we live with confidence in God's promises, we become a light to others who are searching for hope in a world that often feels uncertain.
