Rotary Club of Cebu North Joins Rotary District 3860 Bloodletting Activity at GMall
On July 27, 2026, the Rotary Club of Cebu North proudly participated in the Rotary District 3860 Bloodletting Activity held at GMall, demonstrating Rotary's enduring commitment to community service and humanitarian action.
The event brought together Rotarians, civic organizations, volunteers, and community partners from across the district in a united effort to help address the continuing need for safe and adequate blood supplies. It was a remarkable display of compassion and solidarity as various clubs and organizations convened for a common purpose—to save lives through voluntary blood donation.
More than 150 individuals registered and expressed their willingness to donate blood during the activity. After undergoing the necessary health screenings and eligibility assessments, 97 qualified donors successfully completed their blood donations. Each unit collected represents a valuable opportunity to help patients in need, including accident victims, surgical patients, individuals battling serious illnesses, and those requiring emergency transfusions.
The successful turnout reflects the generosity and civic-mindedness of the participants, as well as the strong spirit of service that Rotary champions. Through initiatives such as this, Rotary District 3860 and the Rotary Club of Cebu North continue to create meaningful and lasting impacts within the community.
The Rotary Club of Cebu North extends its sincere appreciation to all donors, volunteers, medical personnel, partner organizations, and fellow Rotary clubs who contributed to the success of this worthy endeavor. Their selfless act of giving not only provided hope to countless individuals but also reaffirmed the power of collective action in making a difference.
As Rotary's motto reminds us, "Service Above Self," every drop donated serves as a gift of life and a testament to the compassion that unites us all.
