Cebu South Toastmasters Club (Official) Cebu South Toastmasters Club The Cebu South Toastmasters Club is a club based in Cebu City Philippines.

The Club Mission: We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. It was chartered by Toastmasters International as Club No. 7447 on May 30, 1989. The club was named "Cebu South" because its founders were members of the Rotary Club of Cebu South. The Club was successfully rebuilt in Toastmasters Year 2011-2012. The club meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 7:00 PM at Te'Amo Cafe, 2nd Floor, Hotel One, Juana Osmeña St, Cebu City. The Mission of Toastmasters International: We empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. The Vision of Toastmasters International: To be the first-choice provider of dynamic, high-value, experiential communication and leadership skills development.

Tonight, CebuSouth Toastmasters took a step back to look at the bigger picture — The Long Game. 🎯

The journey toward growth, confidence, and success isn’t built overnight. It’s shaped by the choices we make, the lessons we learn, and most importantly, the courage to keep moving forward.

A reminder that mistakes don’t always have to be setbacks. Sometimes, getting things wrong opens the door to learning, growth, and eventually getting things right.

Because we don’t always need to see the entire path. Sometimes, all we need is the courage to take the next step.

Together, the speeches reminded us that the long game is about progress, not perfection. Every mistake, every lesson, and every small step contributes to the person and communicator we are becoming.

🎤 **Featured Speech:** "Me, Meaning, and Millennials"
One speaker took the floor and unpacked what it means to search for purpose as a millennial — caught between old-school expectations and a fast-changing world. Honest, relatable, and thought-provoking.

✨ ELEVATE: A NIGHT OF GROWTH, REFLECTION, AND CONNECTION ✨

Yesterday, Cebu South Toastmasters gathered for an inspiring club meeting centered on the theme “Elevate.” 🎤

The evening reminded us that growth happens when we challenge ourselves to step forward, speak up, and become better than we were yesterday.

🎙️ Two Speakers. Two Stories. Two Opportunities to Elevate.

👏 Vincent Crist Lipayo delivered “V.I.N.C.E.”, an Ice Breaker speech that introduced us to his journey and gave us a glimpse of the person behind the name.

👏 Arundas TC, DL4 presented “7 Years,” a reflective speech that encouraged us to look back on our growth and appreciate how far we have come along the way.

⚡ The energy continued with Table Topics, where members and guests embraced the challenge of speaking on the spot—proving that sometimes, the best way to elevate is simply to step outside our comfort zone.

From prepared speeches to impromptu speaking, evaluations, and fellowship, it was another meaningful evening of learning, confidence-building, and connection.

To everyone who participated, supported, evaluated, and cheered each speaker on—thank you for helping one another elevate! 🙌

What an inspiring evening at Cebu South Toastmasters!

Tonight’s theme, “Believe in Yourself,” came alive through three powerful messages that reminded us how confidence is built—not in a single moment, but through every choice we make.

🎯 Our first speaker reminded us that believing in yourself begins with having a goal. Dreams remain wishes until we give them direction and commit to pursuing them.

🤝 Our second speaker shared that believing in yourself also means having the courage to resolve conflict with empathy and choose peace over pride. True strength is found not in winning arguments, but in building understanding.

🌱 Our final speaker reinforced that confidence isn’t created overnight. Like the lessons from Atomic Habits, believing in yourself is strengthened through small, consistent actions that compound into remarkable results.

Together, tonight’s speeches formed a meaningful journey:
Set a goal. Choose peace. Build better habits.
