♿𝗣𝗪𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲:Despite the bad weather, We are happy that 10 barangays participated in today's PWDall Youth Convention, with 15 PWD youth leaders joining us. We may not have reached our target number of participants, but that's okay it was still a successful and meaningful event.

While the event concluded successfully, a few participants had to leave before its completion due to valid personal reasons, unforeseen priorities, and the unfavorable weather conditions. Despite their early departure, we sincerely appreciate their effort and commitment in attending the activity. Their participation and support contributed to the success of the event, and we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise beyond one's control.

A heartfelt thank you to my officers for their dedication and hard work, and to our esteemed speaker, Ma'am Dia North , for showing up and inspiring us despite the heavy rain.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to RAFI - Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. . and Cebu Stellar Lions Club for their invaluable support and partnership. This event would not have been possible without your generosity and trust. Thank you for believing in our mission to empower PWD youth.

The Cebu City PWD Youth Federation, in partnership with Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) and with the support of Cebu Stellar Lions Club🦁, proudly invites all eligible young Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to participate in the PWDall Youth Convention 2026.

This convention is a platform dedicated to empowering young persons with disabilities by strengthening their leadership capacity, increasing awareness of disability rights, and encouraging active participation in community development. Through engaging discussions, learning sessions, and networking opportunities, participants will enhance their knowledge, develop valuable leadership skills, build meaningful connections, and be inspired to become champions of inclusion, equality, and positive social change.

Who Can Join?

- Registered Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) residing in Cebu City

🦽 WHEEL OF HOPE | Wheelchair Distribution Program

The Cebu City PWD Youth Federation is pleased to announce the Wheel of Hope: Wheelchair Distribution Program for qualified Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

📅 Date: July 25, 2026 (Saturday)
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Venue: Cebu City Legislative Building

Please check if your name is included in the list of selected beneficiaries. Only those whose names appear on the official list will be accommodated and allowed to receive a wheelchair during the distribution.

Join and register now! The Cebu Doctors University Hospital, through its Center for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, in partnership with the Cebu City PWD Youth Federation, is conducting an educational and community engagement program in celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week, with the theme "Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development."

This initiative aims to promote health, independence, and quality of life among persons with disabilities. The program will feature lectures and practical demonstrations on Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy management, the proper use of assistive devices, and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, functional independence, and overall well-being.

WHEN:July 24, 2026 (Friday), from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria
To join the program, applicants must:
1. Be a registered Person with Disability (PWD) residing in Cebu City.
2. Be 15 to 30 years old at the time of the event.
3. Demonstrate a passion for creating positive change and serving the community, particularly in promoting the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.
4. Be fully committed to attending the entire program and actively participating in all sessions and activities.

Please take note that Snacks and drinks will be provided for all 20 participants.

The Cebu City PWD Youth Federation proudly and actively participated in the Opening Celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week held on July 18, 2026, at SM City Cebu.

This meaningful celebration reminds us that disability rights are human rights. As we continue to champion inclusion, accessibility, empowerment, and equal opportunities, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that every young person with a disability has a voice and a place in building a more inclusive Cebu City.
