Today, August 21, 2026, we remember the 43rd death anniversary of Benigno Simeón “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and the sacrifice that sparked a revolution for Philippine democracy.

“There is no greater nation on earth than our Motherland. No greater people than our own. Serve them with all your heart, with all your might and with all your strength.” - Ninoy Aquino

History remembers those who choose action over comfort. Ninoy Aquino stepped out on that plane driven by belief that a nation is worth fighting for. Today we honor his memory by striving to build a nation worthy of the sacrifices for its freedom. 🎗️

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | AHLSA displays the previous Cultural Outreach Programs via the Bayanihan Expo 2026

The Rover Scout Department invites AHLSA representatives and other organizations along with clubs to showcase their COPs via the Bayanihan expo on August 20, 2026. Conducted at the Recoletos Coliseum, the event gave the opportunity to display meaningful objectives, proper discussion of the programs, and promote their club and organization to the Grade 11 Students.

The Grade 12 Senior Highschool HUMSS Students creates life into each of their canvases, wherein each stroke of color becomes a pattern, weaving together the language of art and poetry, unveiling a masterpiece that tells a tale. Each painting flows into the next, creating a seamless blend of forms and characters–creating an artwork that goes beyond its borders.

It creates a harmonious journey, proving that creativity is best when shared. A series of galleries of visionaries, becoming a living testament to how art and poetry intertwine, shaping not just images, but meaning itself.

The skies are clear and ready for takeoff! HUMSSters, get ready as the Allied HUMSS Leaders and Students’ Association (AHLSA) demonstrates the final preparations with 9th.

With cemented and strengthened bonds, the members of AHLSA take their last step before taking to the skies, carrying the history and knowledge of the organization with them. This time, the parliament not only intends to uphold the legacy, but to end the final year of HUMSS with a bang, and pacing the way as the firey spirit of ASSH rises.

Boarding is about to commence, buckle up and ready as we aim for more than the skies!

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐀𝐇𝐋𝐒𝐀 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞

Last 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, AHLSA Officers took part in a 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 at LS 603 and 500, strengthening their understanding of leadership, parliamentary governance, and their responsibilities as officers of the organization.

The program was emceed by 𝗔𝗛𝗟𝗦𝗔’𝘀 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝘂, and facilitated by Advisers 𝗠𝗿. 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻. The officers were oriented on 𝗔𝗛𝗟𝗦𝗔’𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, as well as the roles and responsibilities they are expected to uphold.

The initiative also featured external speakers 𝗠𝘀. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗩. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘. 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗼, who engaged the officers in team-building activities and discussions on parliamentary procedures. Through these sessions, the officers fostered collaboration and gained practical insights on the importance of 𝗱𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 during formal meetings.

Lastly, AHLSA’s very own HUMSS/ASSH Academic Chairman, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗴, shared his advice and words of encouragement for the officers, leaving them with meaningful lessons and goals to accomplish as they continue their journey in leadership and service.

The event highlighted the importance of 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲—equipping AHLSA Officers with the knowledge and skills they can carry into future meetings and initiatives.

𝗔𝗧𝗠 | The Allied HUMSS Leaders and Students’ Association (AHLSA) Assemble in LS 500 under the discussion of the Parliamentary Procedure, led by Atty. Rigil Kent E. Sevilleno, LPT guiding the members on the proper ex*****on of procedures within a formal meeting—providing practical insights on objective proposals, agenda crafting and diplomatic communication, leaving the members with valuable information to be applied for future meetings.
