Ramon Nito Durano Family Foundation joins the Archdiocese of Cebu's Inauguration of new Media Center

The Ramon Nito Durano Family Foundation Inc. (RNDFFI) forged a partnership with the Archdiocese of Cebu, in the completion of its Cebu Archdiocesan Digital Communications Ministry (CADCOM) Mission Hub. The project was turned-over last May 17, 2026.

In attendance was Archbishop Alberto Uy, members of the Cebu clergy's media-arm; and the Durano family with Mayor Nito Durano, Mrs. Elizabeth H. Durano, Danao Vice Mayor Ivy Durano, RNDFFI's President Red Durano, and Executive Director Mix Durano; together with their children.

The said facility is located in the Archbishop’s Residence compound in Cebu City. It will serve as the media center of the Archdiocese in its continuing work of evangelization especially among the Cebuano youth. The facility is complete with a studio, offices, and dormitory for youth volunteers from various parts of the province.

“I am thankful that my children who comprised the RNDFFI Board has committed themselves to continuing the legacy of my late father, especially his generosity with the Church”, said City Mayor Nito Durano in a statement.

“Our thrust as an organization could be summed up into two themes: celebrating life, inspiring communities, we believe that the Church has a vital role not only in the spiritual but also in the cultural vibrancy of our communities.” said Mr. Mix Durano, RNDFFI’s Executive Director. “It has a role in shaping the members of the community, especially the youth.” he added.

RNDFFI continues to support 150 livelihood organizations in Cebu’s mid-north. It offers livelihood skills training and seed capital support, empowering its members to be self-reliant. # # #

Kagahapon, gipaabot nato ngadto sa mga estudyante sa Beatriz Durano Memorial National High School sa Brgy. Suba ug sa Guinsay Elementary School, sa Danao City ang suporta gikan sa atong mga higala. Kini gitambungan sa atong Executive Director, Mix Durano.

Atong pasalamat sa Beverly Hills Rehabilitation Center sa California, USA pinaagi ni Ms. Michelle Castro-Bernabe. Ato usab pasalamat kang Ms. Rhea Mata sa iyang gipaambit nga pahalipay para sa mga estudyante sa Guinsay.

Salamat sa atong mga magtutudlo sa maong mga eskwelahan sa inyong maabtik nga pag abi-abi, ug salmat usab sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa Dakbayan sa Danao.
