A new chapter officially began as the DOST SA CIT-U community gathered for its Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony last July 27, 2026, at the EOD Hall, DOST Regional Office VII – S&T Complex.

The day was filled with meaningful experiences that strengthened leadership and camaraderie. Participants gained valuable insights from Engr. Dianne Kyle Jumao-as, who shared an inspiring leadership talk on the interpersonal and team operational skills every leader needs to inspire, collaborate, and serve effectively.

The event also marked the official induction and oath-taking of the newly inducted committee members, signifying the beginning of their commitment to serve the organization. Members further strengthened their camaraderie through engaging team-building activities, committee group discussions, and the fun "Bring a Random Item" challenge, fostering collaboration, trust, and meaningful connections.

Congratulations to all our newly inducted committee members! May this milestone inspire you to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and uphold the values of DOST SA CIT-U as you begin your journey of making a meaningful impact on the scholar community. 💙

Upload the following requirements via the E-Scholarship Application System (https://jlss.science-scholarships.ph/):

1️⃣ Certification as a REGULAR Third Year student or signed Application Form E-1 in the First Semester/Term of AY 2026-2027;

2️⃣ Certified True Copy of Grades for the Second Semester of AY 2025 – 2026 (or the Second and Third Trimester / Third & Fourth Term) and 2026 Midyear Term, if enrolled; and

The DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reports that volcanic ash from the recent moderate explosive eruption of Mount Kanlaon has dispersed and reached parts of Cebu.

The volcano stays at Alert Level 2, which means there is still ongoing unrest.
