Congratulations to Mr. Markwil Bert T. Ramos of Cebu Council for being selected as one of the 2026 Outstanding Scoutmasters of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines!

The annual Search for the Outstanding Scoutmasters aims to recognize the significant contributions and outstanding achievements of men and women who have served as “Scoutmasters” and have demonstrated excellence in their Unit Leadership, thereby providing citizenship training and character building among the youth and young people in the country.

Mr. Ramos will received the award on 22 May 2026 during the 69th Annual National Council Meeting at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City.

Regional Scout Committee Meeting, Key 3 Conference, and Awarding of the 2026 Management Meritorious Awards

The BSP Eastern Visayas Region, together with BSP Eastern Samar Council as the host, successfully conducted the Regional Scout Committee Meeting, Key 3 Conference, and Awarding of the 2026 Management Meritorious Awards last 08 April 2026 at Melindas Resort, Borongan City, Eastern Samar. The event gathered leaders of the different Local Councils to discuss regional operations, confer awards to top performers, and elect the new set of officers of the Regional Scout Committee.

The journey comes full circle.

On the final day of the Regional Scout Youth Forum 2026 ⚜️, all the sessions, conversations, and shared experiences from the past days come together. What started as simple introductions has grown into stronger connections, clearer ideas, and a deeper sense of purpose among every Scout. 🌊

The day opened with a tour that allowed Scouts to explore, appreciate, and connect beyond the sessions, reminding us that learning continues in every place we go. 🗺️✨

As the forum drew to a close, the Closing Ceremony stood as a powerful reminder of everything we have achieved together 🤝 From ideas turned into action to friendships built across councils, each Scout now carries forward a clearer vision and a stronger sense of responsibility.

Day 3 is about arrival. Not an ending, but a new beginning. With our bearings set and our purpose defined, we move forward, ready to lead, serve, and make a difference wherever we go. 🌟
