Philippine Cacao Industry: Growing Stronger Together! 🇵🇭🍫

The National Cacao Congress 2025 (NCC 2025) was a resounding success, proving our motto: "One Voice, One Cacao Family, One Philippine Brand."
Held on October 16-17 at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City, the event successfully united nearly 1,200 participants and 80 exhibitors. This diverse gathering included key players from government agencies, banking institutions, the academe, private sectors, and our dedicated farmers.

The congress placed a vital focus on sustainability and profitability with its core theme: “The Science of Intercropping Coconut with Cacao...Plus Cash Crops”.

TRAVEL ADVISORY

"While the northern Cebu area, particularly Bogo City and the towns of San Remigio, Medellin, Daanbantayan, Tabogon, Tabuelan, and Sogod, were affected by the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck Cebu last Wednesday night, we would like to inform the traveling public that it is safe to come to Cebu, especially to the central and southern reaches of the island.

It is also business as usual at the Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) in Lapu-Lapu City and at the ports of Cebu, particularly in Cebu City, so that visitors continue to come and go without any inconvenience that resulted from the earthquake.
We advise visitors to stay informed while traveling to Cebu by monitoring the local news and to seek guidance only from official sources, like the Cebu Provincial Government and concerned government agencies, particularly the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs)."

An unforgettable three-day celebration of everything cacao! From the lively trade fair, engaging seminars, and interactive workshops to the Flavored Tablea and Best Booth competitions — the event was a powerhouse of local talent, innovation, and community spirit!

We officially wrapped up the celebration with a meaningful closing program, where Mr. Jan Navarro, Vice President of CCIDC and proud owner of JN Cacao, delivered his heartfelt remarks. He emphasized:
