🔥 Service, fellowship, and shared purpose — that’s what World Rotaract Week is all about.

Last March 10, 2026, members of the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu joined fellow Rotaractors in Cebu IT Park to celebrate World Rotaract Week, a global celebration of the impact and unity of Rotaractors around the world.

This meaningful gathering was made even more special through our partnership with the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente – University of San Carlos and the Rotaract Club of Cebu North – University of the Philippines Cebu, bringing together passionate young leaders committed to service above self.

The celebration was a reminder that while each club serves its own community, our collective impact grows stronger when we collaborate, support one another, and unite under a shared vision of creating positive change.

Empowering young leaders begins with guidance. Through our mentorship initiative, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu created a platform where experienced leaders share knowledge, inspire confidence, and help young professionals grow into future changemakers.

During sessions like “Be the Spotlight,” mentors engaged participants through meaningful discussions on leadership, personal development, and community service. By fostering learning, dialogue, and encouragement, Rotaractors helped participants gain the skills and mindset needed to lead with purpose.

✨ Education becomes more powerful when opportunity meets access.

Last March 9, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu proudly conducted the Turnover of Chromebooks to students of Guindaruhan National High School in Minglanilla, made possible through our partnership with Dilaab Digitals.

This initiative aims to support students and educators by providing digital tools that enhance learning, creativity, and access to information. With these Chromebooks, students are now better equipped to explore new ideas, strengthen their digital skills, and unlock opportunities that technology can offer in today’s learning environment.

More than a simple turnover, this moment represents a shared commitment between partners, educators, and volunteers to invest in the future of young learners.

Access to light means access to opportunity. Through a partnership with Panasonic, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu brought solar lanterns to households in Caohagan Island, providing a sustainable source of light for families with limited electricity access.

Rotaractors worked hand in hand with partners to transport and distribute the lanterns across the island, empowering residents with safe, renewable lighting for their homes and daily activities. What began as a simple initiative became a step toward brighter, more sustainable communities.

✨ Sometimes, changing the future starts with something as simple as turning on a light.

Last March 7, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu, in partnership with Panasonic, brought Project Light Up The Future to the community of Caohagan Island.

Through this initiative, solar lanterns were distributed to residents, providing a safer and more sustainable source of light for families whose nights are often limited by access to electricity. More than just lighting homes, the project aims to brighten opportunities — enabling children to study at night, families to move around safely, and communities to feel more secure after sunset.

This meaningful day would not have been possible without the collaboration of partners, volunteers, and community members who share the same vision: empowering communities and lighting the way toward a brighter tomorrow.

Peace is built when communities unite in service. Through Project RISE, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu partnered with the 1901st Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army to deliver essential donations to families in Lamintak Sur, Medellin, Cebu.

Working alongside reservists and volunteers, Rotaractors organized, transported, and distributed relief goods to communities affected by disaster. This collaboration strengthened trust between civilians and uniformed personnel while bringing hope and assistance to those who needed it most.

Strengthening bonds beyond borders.

Last February 22, 2026, at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu (RID 3860) formally entered into a Twin Club Agreement with the Rotaract Club of Puerto Princesa (RID 3830).

This milestone marks the beginning of a strengthened partnership rooted in fellowship, collaboration, and meaningful service initiatives aligned with the values of Rotary International. United in our commitment to Service Above Self, we look forward to fostering lasting connections and creating greater impact together across districts.

Last February 20–22, 2026, at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu (RID 3860) proudly attended the 14th Pilipinas Rotaract Convention alongside Rotaractors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Strengthening connections before formalizing partnerships.

Last February 4, 2026, via Google Meet, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu (RID 3860) met with the Rotaract Club of Puerto Princesa (RID 3830) for a strategic planning session ahead of the Twin Club Agreement and Signing.

This meeting allowed both clubs to align objectives, discuss collaborative initiatives, and ensure a strong foundation for a lasting partnership guided by the values of Rotary International. Last February 4, 2026, via Google Meet, the Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu (RID 3860) conducted a strategic meeting with the Rotaract Club of Cavite Uptown (RID 3810) in preparation for the Twin Club Agreement and Signing.
