This is the video of the fire. The fire started in one of the parts of the home occupied by a boarder.

The mother of 8 children, Lola Franz rented rooms to a handfull of borders. The home was not insured (fire insurance is not as commonplace in the Philippines as it is in the U.S.). Lola Franz has lost her home and her income. Since the entire house was destroyed, the borders also lost their homes.
