Angat Cebu BPO, together with community organizations, local government units, and private partners including Angat Buhay Foundation USA, Angat Liloan, the Philippine Red Cross, the 14th Civil Military Operations Battalion, and Eversley Child Sanitarium and General Hospital, came together to bring free, quality healthcare closer to the community.

One community, one mission — making healthcare more accessible, one outreach at a time.

💧 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 — 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙, 𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙮.

In partnership with Waves For Water Philippines, Angat Cebu BPO, together with Angat Liloan visited Sitio Sulima, Barangay Cotcot, Liloan, Cebu — one of the communities heavily impacted by Typhoon Tino.

And despite having three water sources, none are safe for drinking. Through the generosity of our donors and partners, we distributed 80 water filters that will provide safe drinking water to 800 households. Designed to last up to 10 years with proper care and maintenance, these filters offer a sustainable solution for daily living and a reliable source of clean water during future calamities when access becomes limited.

This is more than relief. This is resilience. This is hope. This is bayanihan in action.

𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 🤝🫶

Angat Cebu BPO joined the One-Stop Medical Mission and Operation Tuli held last May 9 at the Mother Rectrude Gym in Barangay Jagobiao, Mandaue City.

Together with partner organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross-Cebu Chapter, Eversley Childs Sanitarium and General Hospital, the 14th Civil Military Operations Battalion, and Angat Liloan, we provided essential healthcare services to 150 individuals through free medical consultations, distribution of essential medicines, tooth extractions, bloodletting, haircuts, and hygiene promotion activities.

Through our partnership with 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗦𝗔, led by Executive Director Roger Santos, we were able to support the Operation Tuli by providing essential medical supplies for 70 children, helping ensure that the procedure was carried out safely and successfully.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay and SK Officials of Barangay Jagobiao for inviting us to be part of this meaningful initiative. Together, we continue to deliver free and quality healthcare services to the community in the spirit of service, compassion, and true bayanihan.

At the Angat Buhay ALAB 2026 Benefit Concert, Angat Cebu BPO Founder and Executive Director John Michael Remollo proudly represented the Cebu volunteers as one of the Climate Action speakers, sharing the story of how volunteers across Cebu mobilized during the 6.9 earthquake and Bagyong Tino and how communities continued rebuilding through collective action, rehabilitation efforts, and the true spirit of bayanihan.

Behind every relief operation, donation drive, community visit and rehabilitation activity were volunteers who chose to show up despite exhaustion, uncertainty, and challenges on the ground. These stories are proof that volunteerism goes beyond moments of crisis it is about consistency, compassion, and genuine service to the community.

During those challenging times, Angat Buhay also established a satellite office in Cebu to help strengthen disaster response operations, volunteer mobilization, and coordination efforts for affected communities in Northern Cebu. A reminder that in moments of crisis, bayanihan and collective action can truly create impact.

Maraming salamat Angat Buhay, for giving local volunteers and community organizations the platform to share stories of resilience, hope, and service. Opportunities like this remind us that real change happens when communities work together with compassion and purpose.

The Founder and Executive Director of Angat Cebu BPO, John Michael Remollo, was honored to be invited as one of the guest speakers at ALAB: Awit at Liwanag organized by Angat Buhay.

During his talk, John Michael shared the humble beginnings of the organization, the impact of its community initiatives made possible through meaningful partnerships, and the support extended to families affected by the earthquake and Typhoon Tino through the help of Angat Buhay.
