From "Kumusta na?" to "What's next?" โœจ๏ธ

The Remedios Parish Youth Coordinating Council held its first Regular Meeting filled with meaningful conversations, laughter and shared hopes for the future. Beginning with the Word of God, followed by personal sharing and a "kumustahan" among members, the gathering reminded us that ministry starts with listening, understanding and growing together.

With hearts on fire and minds full of ideas, we look forward to a year of service, leadership and faith-filled experiences for the entire youth ministry. The journey is just beginning and we can't wait to see what God has in store for us. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Heart of the Tradition
Flores de Mayo (Flowers of May) originated in the Philippines during the mid-1800s. Inspired by the proclamation of the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception, it became a beloved ritual where children and devotees offer fresh flowers to the Virgin Mary every day of May, symbolizing her purity and the blossoming of our faith.

Join us at the Virgen De Los Remedios Parish (Labangon - Calamba) as we celebrate a month-long devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This tradition honors her courageous "Yes" to Godโ€™s call, bringing our Savior into the world.

Schedule of Celebration
We invite all children from different chapels and devotees to participate in our daily offerings and Eucharistic celebrations:

Monday - Saturday
Offering of flowers: 4:30PM
Holy Mass: 6:00PM

Sunday:
Offering of flowers: 2:00
Holy mass: 3:30PM

As young ministers of Christ from Remedios Parish Youth Coordinating Council - Labangon, we are sent to actively build bridges, to restore what is broken, and to bring light where there is misunderstanding, hatred, and indifference.

AS ONE, we stand with Pope Leo XIV, whose life and mission remind us that true leadership is rooted in dialogue, humility, and the sincere pursuit of unity. In a time where voices of division are strong, we are challenged to stand firm; not in anger, but in compassion; not in hostility, but in truth and charity.
