As part of the council, you will have the opportunity to inspire fellow volunteers, strengthen humanitarian service in the community, and uphold the values of compassion, leadership, and solidarity that define the Red Cross Youth.

🔥🚒 READY. SET. RESPOND! 🚒🔥

In line with National Fire Prevention Month, the Cebu Red Cross Youth successfully ignited passion, teamwork, and preparedness through our dynamic activity: Predict. Plan. Prepare. Practice. ❤️

From knowledge to action, our youth participants showcased their skills and presence of mind through exciting and challenging stations:

🩹 Bandaging
🚨 Fire Evacuation Drill
💧 Bucket Relay

Each station tested not only their knowledge but also their ability to respond in real-life emergency situations—proving that today’s youth are truly ready to save lives and build safer communities.

LEARNING MADE FUN THROUGH INTERACTION AND COMPETITION

Happening now:

The Fire Safety Lessons continue as the event draws closer to its conclusion. Divided into different groups, the level and depth of learnings are manifested in the practical activity through competition. Wrapped in the highlight of the AMAZING RACE as part of the program, P-A-S-S (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) were put into action with precise, quick measure followed by the demonstrations of what could consist the 4P's of Response (Predict. Plan. Prepare. Practice).

Later today, the activity will wrap up with awarding of the winners including the different INFORMATIVE VIDEO ENTRIES filmed by various youth councils.

With the summer heat putting a strain on our national power grid, the Philippine Red Cross encourages every household to participate in Earth Hour. Reducing our load for just 60 minutes on March 28 at 8:30 PM is a practical act of patriotism.

Let’s ensure energy security for the hospitals and emergency services that need it most.

Gather the family. Use this Earth Hour to talk about your family’s safety plan.
