When 2015 came, a mission to feed children within the community shelter (stow-away kids and other orphans) was realized every other quarter of the year until 2017. The friends agreed to create a group to respond to calls of feeding: to fire victims, street children, public graders in public schools and even to street workers. It was an informal activity depending on the funds raised within the fou
r friends. Come 2020 when COVID-19 virus spread and pandemic crisis ruled, the education sector was one of the mostly affected. Teachers and students were to crawl unto how and what to do to continue the learning process. The group was motivated in helping the teachers in Cebu Province through DepEd (Department of Education) to engage comfortable and widespread uses of teaching materials through worldwide access and donated 10 sets of GLOBE AT HOME PREPAID WIFI to 10 most deserving schools with teachers who have no FACILTY that can access to the internet signal. It is meant: Maria's With A Heart, which was taken from their first names MARIA. In the year 2021, the group initiated a community pantry (SCHOOL PANTRY) held inside the Cordova Central Elementary School to support parents of the graders in the school. When 2022 started, the group visioned to produce college graduates from families who have less than PhP150,000 annual net income. The objective is to help a family with an upcoming college student/students or college freshmen who are achievers (with grades which are not below 85 in all subjects in the high school or no grade below 2.0 in the freshmen semesters). This new project is a major step of MWAH to produce quality graduates that can elevate each of their respective families. This is the first project of the group to fund its first batch recipient/s. The aim is to pay the total tuition fee of the scholar/s for the whole one semester and onwards until graduation. Payment must be done directly to the school where the recipient is enrolled. The project is per semester basis. MWAH aims to assist several qualified college freshmen and high school graduates for the coming academic years and onwards.
