Last July 29, 2025, we had the privilege to attend the Rotary Club of Mandaue East Induction and Turnover Ceremony held at Golden Prince Hotel.

Present during the event was Mr. Giovanni Y. Pable, President of the Rotaract Club of Mandaue East, and Mr. Remwil S. Buquia, Director of Public Image, who also served as the Master of Ceremony for the program.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Past President Joslyn B. Canon for her remarkable leadership and service, and to the President for Rotary Year 2025–2026, Ms. Steffanie L. Kaneko, as she begins her term with new visions and goals. We wish you all the best in leading the club to greater heights. 🌟

𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧-𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐧 | 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍

On July 5, 2025, compassion, joy, and community spirit came alive in Brgy. Kinasang-an, Pardo, Cebu City as we celebrated the Rotary Day for Children — a District-Wide Kick-Off Initiative spearheaded by the Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3860.

This meaningful event, themed “Panag-amoma sa Kabatan-onan,” was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Cebu Council of Rotaract Clubs, with the mission to provide a day filled with learning, laughter, and love for our little ones.

Through fun-filled activities, interactive play, and community engagement, we hoped to ignite hope, inspire joy, and promote the holistic well-being of children in the community. This is what service above self looks like — a future shaped by care and kindness.

A heartfelt thank you to all the participating clubs, volunteers, and partners who made this day impactful and unforgettable.

The Rotaract Club of Mandaue East took home key awards during the year-ending Appreciation Night for the Cebu Council of Rotaract Clubs of District 3860 at the Cebu City Hall Social Hall last July 12, 2025.

Congratulations to Charter and Hope-Creating President Xanakes Bejoc and Immediate Past President Corina Encabo for receiving these well-deserved commendations for the Magical Rotary Year 2024-25. These awards are proof positive of the Mandaue East Rotaractors’ unyielding commitment and dedication to service and tireless pursuit of effecting sustainable change that would benefit society at large.

𝐑𝐀𝐂 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭

As the New Rotary Year got underway, the Rotaract Club of Mandaue East joined the Rotarians of Mandaue East, and all other Rotarians and Rotaractors within the Cebu Council during the “Unang Lakang: Rotary Day for Children” kickoff event at the San Nicolas Sports Complex last July 1, 2025.

Fortified by the theme “Unite for Good” this new Rotary Year, the Rotaractors of Mandaue East exhibited their steadfast commitment to service, fully cognizant of the opportunities that lay ahead for the next twelve months. By getting off to a good start this Rotary Year, the Rotaractors are on solid ground to continue demonstrating the characteristics that make them worthy exemplars of service above self.
