From Cut to Constructed: The WikiHouse Pavilion Comes to Life

Take a behind-the-scenes look at the full process of building the WikiHouse Pavilion—from digital fabrication to on-site assembly! 🛠️✨

This open-source architectural system uses CNC-cut plywood pieces that fit together like a puzzle—making building faster, more sustainable, and accessible. No nails, no heavy machinery—just precision, collaboration, and innovation.

This year’s pavilion was brought to life through the joint efforts of , , and , and now stands as the home of the Build A City exhibit at ARCHTECHCON 2025.

🎤 SPEAKER PROFILE: Mona Alcudia-Ong, MACD
Creative strategist and co-founder of , Mona Alcudia-Ong is deeply rooted in design practice that merges imagination, technology, and community.

With a master’s degree in Contextual Design from Design Academy Eindhoven, Mona brings a research-driven, human-centered lens to the built environment—crafting narratives and interventions that spark critical dialogue and innovation.

As one of the organizers of BUILD A CITY, a 3D modeling and printing workshop for kids, she introduces the next generation to the tools of future-making. Through this initiative, children reimagine the future of Downtown Cebu by prototyping visionary urban spaces—combining play, design, and technology.

At ARCHTECHCON 2025, Mona will explore how early design education and open access to emerging tools can reshape how we build and dream of our cities.
